No kidding, these hashbrowns are SO GOOD! I bought a dozen potatoes for a dollar from the Walmart clearance cart. Then grated and parboiled them (absolutely no waste) and dehydrated them. They half-filled a sandwich bag! Today I rehydrated a small amount and fried it up with onions and freeze-dried corn... and it is DELICIOUS! 🥔 🍳 🌽

PENYAKIT 3 SERANGKAI KINI MENGHANTUI RAKYAT MALAYSIA
Assalamualaikum sahabat2,apa khabar,sahabat tahu tak apa itu penyakit 3 serangkai?
Mungkin ada sahabat2 yang pernah terdengar sebelum ni.Untuk pengetahuan sahabat sekalian penyakit 3 serangkai adalah kesinambungan 'sakit jantung,kencing manis dan buah pinggang.
Salah satu risiko utama terjadinya adalah faktor permakanan yang tidak sihat sejak usia muda lagi.Kita telah dididik seperti makanan berminyak,bergoreng dan manis contohnya di majlis kenduri,teh tarik,minuman bergas dan makan makanan segera(fastfood). Tapi pernah tak sahabat terfikir yang kesannya berlaku bukan dalam masa terdekat tetapi memakan masa sehingga 10,20 atau 30 tahun kehadapan.
Mengikut Bajet Belanjawan tahun 2019,kerajaan akan mengenakan cukai sebanyak 40sen ke atas minuman bergula.
Adakah sahabat masih nak meneruskan tabiat meminum minuman bergula?
Hanya sahabat yang boleh menilai sendiri untuk masa depan sahabat dan keluarga(anak,isteri,adik beradik,mak ayah)
Setiap manusia memerlukan sekurang-kurangnya 3Liter air sehari untuk diminum supaya tubuh sihat dan bertenaga.(saya sudah mengamalkanya)

Lemony Sweet Kale Chips
I massage the kale pieces with a mixture of lemon, salt, avocado oil, and local raw honey. Place it on the dehydrator sheets and dehydrate it overnight. In the morning, I have wonderful, delicious, and healthy "chips." It's hard to not eat them all as I'm taking them off the trays!

👉A little more about what a #Dehydrator is...
An amazing machine about the size of a microwave and raw food’s version of an oven. It is used to slowly take the moisture out of produce, making it dense and chewy (think living breads, burgers, kale chips and granola), which is especially satisfying when you are transitioning away from cooked food. It works at low temperatures so the nutritional and enzyme content is not jeopardised. Nuts are one of my favourite snacks. #Delicious and #supernutritious , packed with #healthyfats , #fibre , #protein , vitamins, minerals and #phytonutrients (plant-based micronutrients with powerful #antioxidant properties).
Research shows that daily nut consumption is associated with LONGER and HEALTHIER life. A large-scale Harvard cohort study, which followed 120,000 people up for 30 years, found that daily nut-eaters are less likely to die of cancer, heart disease, and respiratory disease.
Happily, for nut lovers like me, the old adage about ‘too much of a good thing’ doesn’t apply! The study also found a clear dose-response relationship: the more often you eat nuts, the lower your risk of premature death. 🙌

Dehydration restores crunch.
A super-gentle roast afterwards deepens flavour (optional). Since most of the moisture has already been removed, they don’t take long at all. These golden beauties took just 3mins for those at the edge of the tray, another 2mins for those in the centre.

One of our methods of liquifying mushrooms is through dehydration and then soaking in booze for one or two days. The umami rich flavour then leaks into the spirit.
This particular variety not only has a flesh-alike look to it, but also exudes a pungent aroma reminiscent of bacon when dried.

Bal: 40 gr
Fındık (çiğ 1 gece evvelinden suda bekletilmiş): 100 gr
Sarı kuru üzüm: 50 gr
Portakal: 1 adet
Keten tohumu: 25 gr
Muskat, toz: 1 gr
Tarçın, toz: 5 gr
Yulaf: 165 gr
Badem (çiğ 1 gece öncesinden suda beklemiş): 45 gr
Su: 90 gr
Hazırlanışı: Bu tarifi hazırlayıp bir gece buzdolabında beklettikten sonra kurutmaya alıyoruz. Kuru üzümleri yıkayın ve uygun bir bardağa alıp üzerine bir portakalın suyunu sıkın. Bu şekilde bir gece buzdolabında bekletin.
Bir gece boyunca suda beklettiğiniz bademlerin kabuğunu soyun ve 90 gr su ile birlikte blenderda 2 dakika kadar karıştırın. Posasıyla birlikte kullanacağımız için süzmeyin. Keten tohumunun üstüne 75 gr su koyup blenderın baharat öğütme haznesinde jöle kıvamına gelene kadar karıştırın. Elmaların kabuğunu soyup 1 cm'lik küpler halinde kesin ve keser kesmez blenderınıza koyun, diğer malzemeleri de ekleyin ve karışım homojen bir hal alana kadar karıştırın. Uygun bir kaba aktarıp, üstünü streç film ile kaplayıp buzdolabınızda bir gece bekletin. Karışımı yapışmaz kağıt serili iki tepsiye eşit kalınlıkta pay edin. Tatlıların hacimli yapısından ötürü daha önce de belirttiğimiz gibi kuruturken birkaç aşamadan geçirmek daha temiz sonuçlar almamızı sağlıyor.

I’ve borrowed a food dehydrator and am absolutely loving it ! So far I’ve made dried apples - the perfect after swimming snack - also beetroot chips, 1.5kg of activated almonds (yes!) and peach-mango fruit roll ups. So delicious ! Any recommendations for what else to try ? I think kale chips might be next !
So, my garbanzo bean flour dehydrated crackers taste too raw to me. Not sure if I seasoned them well enough. Or maybe it’s just the rawness to be expected of dehydrator crackers. I’m brushing them with some apple cider vinegar and drying a little longer to see if that boosts the savoriness
#WATCHJUNEEAT @dantransform and I have been going crazy over the Ninja Foodi pressure cooker + air fryer from @ninjakitchen. The product uses TenderCrisp Technology to crisp food once it’s been pressure cooked, right in the same pot. We’ve been throwing everything in and it’s all coming out tender-on-the-inside, crispy-on-the-outside and delicious! In one week we’ve already made fried chicken (3x), crispy dumplings, bacon, rice, and dehydrated mangoes – did you know that was all possible in a pressure cooker?!
Marinate chicken thighs in 5 cups buttermilk (or whole milk with 1 egg), 2 tbs paprika, 1 tbs garlic powder, 2 tbs cayenne, 1 tbs pepper, 1 tbs of your fav hot sauce and a dash salt for at least 30 min.
Batter chicken with 2 cups flour and all the same seasonings as above.
Spray rack with oil, place chicken inside the Ninja Foodi, set to air crisp at 340 degrees for 6 min. Lift chicken, spray rack, and flip. Let crisp for another 6 min at 340 degrees.
Now to get it extra crispy- 2 min on each side at 400 degrees.
This layer had such a beautiful shade of green - made from a family-sized clamshell of spinach- dehydrated and blended. Lettuce about to turn bad is taking its turn in the dehydrator now!
