Let's talk body dismorphia!
I can guarantee everyone suffers with this even if it's just the slightest bit. There are many different levels of it and that's all dependant upon the person. If we didn't suffer with it everyone would think they're perfect. You wouldn't need to go to the gym or diet cuz you wouldn't need to change your body if you're happy with how it is.
It's mainly focusing on one part of your body or how you appear that you belive is flawed. So your looking for progress but you always focus on that one bit or compare that certain part to someone else and you don't like what you have compared to others.
For me I have 2 parts that have always bugged me and that's my nipples (strange I know) and my arms.
I've never thought my arms are a decent size even when pumped and filling a t-shirt sleeve. I've always thought my bicep never pops. But on the other hand I then tell myself to shut up cuz I know my arms have grown cuz I measured them, after all what gets measured gets managed..right! 🔹️
I took this boomerang today after a very good arms session and for once I liked what I seen! Now a couple hours after the pump I feel like I have no arms!
The point I'm trying to make here is everybody is completely different. Even if you As to follow the exact same plan both training and nutrition as somebody else you would both look completely different!
Don't compare yourself to others and don't put yourself in the process.
Work hard and appreciate what you have achieved and I guarantee the bits that you don't like and try to hide, other people won't even notice so don't worry you precious little cottons! 😃
