Sorry for the long post...I'm sitting at the airport and finally have some moments to reflect on the past 6 months of tour and this amazing group of artists.
I really am lucky and #blessed to have had the opportunity to work these AMAZING, TALENTED, GENEROUS, CARING, SUPPORTIVE, HILARIOUS, AND FUN FILLED group of people. Life is always crazy and full of surprises and this goes in the books as one of the best times of my life. I've learned and laughed so much on tour and am so excited to see my extended Siam fam again whether it be in nyc or Cali or Japan...etc.
I love all of you and it's so rare to work with a group of artists that are so close knit but also so welcoming and loving. It's been such an overwhelmingly beautiful experience and I can't wait to dive more into MT. What a crazy ride! See you all soooooon. Thanks @kingandimusical
Björk Guðmundsdóttir is an Icelandic singer/songwriter that has had an enormous amount of influence over the English Trip-Hop and Pop scenes since the start of her career over four decades ago. She was initially very involved in the Icelandic Post Punk/Punk Rock scene, having joined/created several bands in her early to late teens such as Spit and Snot, Exodus, Tappi Tíkarrass (“Cork the Bitch’s Ass” in English), and Kukl (Sorcery). In the late ‘80s and early ‘90s she found moderate success as the lead singer of The Sugarcubes but decided to leave in 1992 to focus on her solo career in the U.K. Since then she has released 9 solo records that cement her place as one of Pop’s most iconic and unusually captivating artists. Her, at times, breathy vocal delivery perfectly contrasts her intense emotionally strenuous howls (that she later presents) in a way that makes all of her records feel unbelievably personal and meaningful. This along with her native Icelandic accent makes her vocal style on all of her albums stand out from one another. You should listen to Possibly Maybe off of 1995’s Post, and Jóga off of 1997’s Homogenic. Those are some of the best songs (and albums) ever written.

Nearly two years after its release, @trippieredd “Love Scars” has gone platinum. Released on Nov. 23, 2016, the A Love Letter to You track becomes the Ohio rapper’s third platinum plaque following “Dark Knight Dummo” featuring Travis Scott and his collaboration with XXXTentacion, “Fuck Love.” “Love Scars” officially earned its platinum certification on Aug. 3, five months after it was certified gold. Along with “Love Scars,” “Fuck Love” and “Dark Knight Dummo,” 2018 has been a good year for the 2018 XXL Freshman, who also saw “Bust Down” and the 6ix9ine-assisted “Poles 1469″ earn gold certifications this year.
Trippie will hope to earn a few more platinum plaques with his recently-released debut album, Life’s a Trip. The 14-track project includes the previously released songs “Dark Knight Dummo” and “Uka Uka,” but also includes new tracks such as “Underwater FlyZone,” “Missing My Idols” and “Taking a Walk.” Along with landing on the 2018 XXL Freshman list, Trippie has also earned high praise from a hip-hop veteran. During an interview with XXL, producer Scott Storch called the Canton, Ohio native a rock star and commended his originality. “He’s a little rock star,” the producer said. “I like originality. Him and his girl Angie remind me of the new Sid [Vicious] and Nancy.” #trippieredd#lifeatrip#pushed#back#debut#rockstar#chiefkeef#blackmagic#bilap#rapmusic#popmusic#global#worldwide#indistry#westcoast#eastcoast#midwest#country#rock#edm#music#rnb#musictapp#lebronjames#rapmusic#popmusic#fanbase#marijuanahof#atlanta#texas#california#lovescars
