☺️☺️☺️This is the first time I have ever tried painting a picture using water colours.
The advice is: If you love painting but you are not a talented painter, you should behave and act as if you were very good at this. 🎨🎨🎨
Special thanks to #dearannart for your instruction
Good Morning! 🐞🌿 I've been brushing up (pun intended 😜) on my watercoloring skills thanks to @dearannart and her step by step tutorials 😊 Even though all my life I've been an artsy creature I've spend almost 15 years avoiding painting and using a brush because i thought I had no talent at it, so I stuck with drawing and using pencil. ✏ Just a few years ago, I remembered how fun it was to paint as a child, use all the wonderful colors and just play around, and decided to give it a go..🖌 Definitely not a pro, but the process brings me so much happiness and I've realised art is all about expressing yourself, risking and trying out new things 🙌. Not about showcasing only what you're good at or being concerned with what others think of it. The creative process can teach you to be more patient, to let go of expectations, remind you of importance of play and persevering after you "fail". Do something for your soul ✨ Paint with all the colors of the wind 💕
My dad asked me the other day if I needed some watercolor paint brushes. I said no, I’ve not been using watercolors lately. Sometimes you eat your words. And that’s OK!! Just another excuse to go spend some time in my dads studio 😉. A little #watercolor practice this morning. #painteveryday#makeart#dearannart
