Daily #Tarot Reading for September 19: Eight of Swords
What is holding you back? When the Eight of Swords is drawn, it's a sign that we are afraid to move forward, trapped by our own self-imposed fears or insecurities. In the classic Rider Waite imagery, the woman in the card is blindfolded and tied up, seemingly captured among eight swords on a desolate landscape. Upon first glance, we might think she is as trapped as she believes. But a closer look shows us that her ties are loose, almost falling off of her — if she would only shift her weight, she could slip free, remove her blindfold and escape. Yet, for her, that fate is almost worse than standing still, petrified of what might lay ahead. She is afraid, not unable — but what we believe can become more important than what we are capable of, if we give into our fears. Today, recognize, accept and EMBRACE the fact that your fate is in your hands. When you choose, you can reach up and remove your blindfold, and continue this journey. There is no judgement — remain at a standstill in the dark as long as you need to — but a little faith and courage will lead you toward the light. "The only thing we have to fear is...fear itself — nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance." There is nothing holding you back but you — believe in yourself... ⚔️❤️⛓❤️⚔️❤️⛓❤️⚔️❤️⛓❤️⚔️❤️⛓❤️⚔️

Always Watching: A Marble Hornets Story starring Alexandra Breckenridge (#TheWalkingDead ), Chris Marquette (#JustFriends ), Jack McDorman (#Aquamarine ), Michael Bunin (#TheSoloist ), Alexandra Holden (#DeadEnd ) and Doug Jones (#TheShapeOfWater ). A small town news team discover a box of video tapes showing a faceless figure stalking and tormenting a missing family. Based on the webseries Marble Hornets which I thought was a very impressive show from Troy Wagner. The first two seasons I thought were terrific but I felt the show's third and final season went a little too far from what the show originally was. However, I was not a fan of this film. I was disappointed to see it bared little connection to the series other than the iconic symbol and, of course, the Operator himself. But what I was most disappointed at how generic and lazily executed this film was. I know it's not a popular opinion, but I love the found-footage genre. This film had all the tropes you'd expect from a found-footage horror film but it did these tropes over and over again. I lost count of the amount of fake-outs this movie had. On top of that, this movie's narrative was problematic. I'll admit, it started off good, great even, but it quickly descended into a bland, lifeless horror flick. It moves at an uncomfortably slow pace and has no real payoff in the finale. I really can't understand why Doug Jones was in this film? He has barely any screen time and what little screen time he has he just stands there. The finale was rushed and ultimately underwhelming. I thought the final scene following the big showdown was decent but nowhere near enough to redeem the movie. The characters and acting was not great either. I didn't really get the relationship between the three leads and thought it was dull throughout. It's a real shame, because this film had great source material and some good moments with the Operator, but overall it's just bland. It lacks the effort of the series it's based upon and it just comes across amateurish. The new Slender Man film is far superior. I'd still recommend the webseries Marble Hornets but this film is forgettable and just plain dull. ★★ #alwayswatching
So im not much of a sci-fi fan so i couldnt really grasp the whole concept of the movie but it still did good acc to IMDb.
The movie is based on Jeff VanderMeer's best selling book.
It has a female lead consisting of Natalie Portman as the main character with Gina Rodriguez, Tessa Thompson,Jennifer Jason Leigh and Tuva Novotny.
There is constant tension in the movie as Natalie's onscreen husband Oscar Isaac returns from an army mission in a very hostile condition, and so her curiosity to invade and inspect this cosmic thing increases. And as a mission she goes with a all women team, who are specialised in different biological disciplines. And when they enter there they realize its just a blackhole with a mixture of unique creatures, mythology and unjustifying laws of nature, which are trying to create something new.
Tbh i found the movie very confusing, and not really of my interest. One other thing that i didnt like about the movie was the scene where when her husband returns home few of the countries are named as terrorist associated ones and that lable was kindov offensive.
Tho the visual affects in the movie are beyond amazing👏
