Since my time zones are all messed up, I’ll just say good day my loves. As the weekend comes to a close I want to send you all some positive vibes and remind you that you are in control.
Sometimes we get frustrated by the idea that something is supposed to happen or a relationship is supposed to take place. You are the key to it all. If you want something focus on it taking place. Visualize it, talk about it within your trusted inner circle and do what you can to make it happen.
If it’s a relationship or an outcome that your wanting, understand it happens in due time. Talking to a good friend yesterday and he encouraged me to be more transparent with my goals, intentions, and even relationships when sharing.
I am enjoying being single but can’t wait to level up and have someone’s back (and Vice versa) but I also understand all the relationships that didn’t work are leading me to an incredible person.
I’m not sure who this message is for but it was on my heart so I wanted to share it. It’s often the idea of what we think is supposed to happen that often messes us up the most.
It will happen. You will have everything you want. You will get your King or Queen. In the meantime just focus on living your best life and doing all the things you have your heart set on. Like attracts like. If your desperate you will attract a desperate insecure person. If you are focused on conquering goals and walking in your purpose, guess who you will attract. #Day268#YesTo365#Layllen#Love#ItAllStartsWithYou#MyLoveStarts#WithMe#AbuDhabi#Formula1
Day 268: Low Carb Diet with Korean BBQ 🍖 Feast
Last week I found that Nandos is good for low carb diet, as long as you don't order their chips and wraps. It seems that meat and vegetables are perfect combination for this sort of healthy eating. (My favourite arrangement of meals, just meat & vege, nothing else)
Today we are celebrating my wife's birthday and we were deciding where to go for dinner. She said we can go for Korean BBQ as you can use lettuces wrap as a rice substitute, and has plenty of meat and sides to choose from. Great idea 😁!
So we selected one closer to home, which my youngest sister recommends, called Hancookwan. We were thinking, it is the weekday evening, surely there won't be many diners, but let's just book just-in-case. Upon early arrival, the restaurant is already half-full 😮. The restaurant is bigger than I thought and for it to be half-full, I was surprised.
The selections were great! Many marinated meats, and a lot of side-dishes to choose from with soup and dessert too. I believe we managed to try 90% of the things, and they were all delicious! It was a great experience and I even brought back some smokey essence with me in my clothes and hair 😅!
Great place for meat-lovers and fun cooking your own meal. For $35 per head, it is definitely worth it 👍🏻.
Oh and we did both shared 1 small slice of cheesecake and it was delicious. After getting home, we immediately took Boo out for walk to burn off all the things we ate. Feeling so full, guilty but yet satisfying 😋!
“Put on a Happy Face...” from Bye Bye Birdie (btw, the first musical I ever was in a pit for in grade 12), to a tired Ali basically 18 years later.
Night 2, after early morning dress and Remembrance Day ceremonies at school = running on adrenaline/coffee/willpower. #aliphotos#musiclife#tired#day268
