One of my favorite dishes are salmon steaks and asparagus. I think I could eat this meal at least two nights out of the week. I don’t like cooking “heavy” meals much anymore. When you start something new, when you implement change, or move into a new season, there’s going to be aches, pains, and the uncomfortable feeling of the unknown and being drawn out of your comfort zone. We need to resist the urge to rush this process. Yes, it can be frustrating, feeling like you’re “stuck” or falling behind, but if we try and skip steps, we miss out on learning new skills, growing, stretching, strengthening and can end up “pulling muscles”, hurting ourselves and others when we try and take short cuts. Whether your changes are physical, emotional or mental, embrace the lessons, make room for your capacity to be gently stretched and allow love, acceptance and healing to find you. 💕
