Today I decided to break from my daily pages. I have been writing 3 daily pages for over 130 days and within the last few weeks it has really been doing more harm than good. I felt the pressure of doing it when I didn't feel up to it. I could tell my compulsive tendencies creeping in at the thought of taking a break.
I had to remind myself that the whole point of daily pages is to spend sometime alone with my thoughts and to freely express my feelings. I decided to replace my daily pages with some daily watercolor for today.
I recently picked up the #colormageoracle and decided to give it a shuffle. Four beautiful colors popped out at the same time which I ended up using as a fun color palette. I kept it simple and free and I feel so much better.
