The man himself !!!
Andy D’arrigo aka Andy boy. 94 years young. Just retired a few years ago but still walking around like he’s 25. His mind is still so sharp, you can tell just by talking to him. I hope to be half of him when I grow up 😀 Such a genuine guy. What an honour 🙏
The food at convenience bar was nothing special but combined with the atmosphere and drinks, it’s a pretty cool place to hang out with your friends. Also it’s a very instagrammable place so that’s always a plus
One “hidden” bar that I really want to visit is Mahjong Bar 😀
Fried Chicken with Mac and Cheese
Karaage Wings (lightly beaded, spicy BBQ sauce & scallions)
What’s life without a dash of pink (and a random bird in the corner of your frame) 💖
I’m truly appreciative of all the comments and DMs I get complimenting my photography/creativity, and I think the story behind this image is a good example of all of this doesn’t really come easy for me 😅
When I first came across this composition, my first reaction was to take a shot with the leaves in focus and the cityscape blurred, which gave a pretty lacklustre result at the wide open aperture I had to use to compensate for the lack of light post-sunset. It wasn’t until my non-photography-enthusiast friend suggested I switch around the focus that I got a more palatable capture 😂 Photography is beautiful in that it gives you freedom to experiment, make mistakes, and learn along the way. ======================================

this was taken near museum station while walking around yorkville. it’s probably my new favourite place. the first time i went was with vandana a year ago when we walked right in the middle of fashion week (with me wearing a paramore shirt). everything’s pretty and bougie and now i’m thinking, man, i really need to go back. maybe some solo adventures, unless vandana actually doesn’t skip class and comes downtown. 🙃 anyways, this is ramiro. this pose reminds me of parahoy. have a nice day.
forever using my insta to celebrate all of my friends, with occasional cafe and plant photos. here’s ramiro before the greatest nandos meal we both have ever had. he doesn’t have it where he lives so it was one of the only two things he asked to do while he was here (the other being illy cafe at yorkdale). more stories next week. happy friday.
