I feel we are losing so much by not saving them in words. So, it could be read later on and could be visualize the way it felt!
No matter what you're going through in life, it will come to an end. Whether that's something that made you happy or broke your heart into pieces. And, someday when it's over, it starts to fade away from your memory gradually.
Preserving them in words is the best way you can keep track of anything. It's like a self-therapy too. How a simple thing made you feel at a specific time.. Also, our generation is losing touch with pen. The tech-savvy youngsters have almost forgotten how to write something or keep a journal or make a grocery list, write a daily dairy, read a book before they go to sleep, plan for a trip via writing everything down in a planner. It just makes me really really sad.
I remember, when I was very young probably school going like 3rd grade, I'd write daily dairy. Me and my siblings had our daily journals where we would write about everything that had happened that day. My Baba encouraged us towards writing, he'd take us to stationary shop and let us buy as much as we would like to. All of us would stack piles of books, crayons, markers, stationary, diaries and planners. ♥️ I believe that it's important to encourage kids towards healthy activities. Where their brains can come up with something productive.
I, as a 25year old - still keep a journal and keep on writing in it from time to time. By the time, it's almost going to end; I feel insanely sad. I develop a bond with whatever diary/journal that I've ever kept. And, it feels so beautiful that I can't actually put it in words.
I posted this in my story this morning and kept getting questions about it, so I’ve decided to post it here so I can share with the whole class.😉
This is simply the always wonderful @chobani yogurt in pomegranate. Because I’m obsessed with those red rubies of tastiness, I added more on top along with some flaxseeds and unsweetened coconut! Voila! A perfect snack or part of a great breakfast.
With Greek yogurt, you’re getting about 12g of protein which will help keep you full. The flaxseeds are high in Omega 3s and the coconut adds a fun texture. Try topping your next yogurt cup with some yummy toppings! I love granola, nuts and dried cranberries too.
