So day one of cwp..I had a busy morning as normal 🌻 woke up started drinking H20 and a BLACK coffee then school run then straight into work interviewing candidates..decided to hold out for my first meal replacement as I really wasn't hungry! 🌺 Had my chocolate orange bar at 11.15am which was LOVELY! 🌻 Then lunch at 12.30 I made my Tomato & Basil soup. Hmmm think it needed some spice!? 🌺 The afternoon was tough...by 3pm Id had so many more glasses of water and black coffee felt I was wired up & peeing for England!!🌻 My desk buddy offered me a square of dark chocolate..I explained refused and said I just couldn't. Needed to do this 💯 One day at a time...hunger pains and visualisation of my next meal and as soon as I walked through the door I made my 3rd meal replacement aka Spaghetti Bolognese 🌺 BOOM. I savoured every mouthful and drank loads more water.....this is probably the 1st day I haven't cheated a nibble. Now chilling on the sofa with a camomile tea and I am sooo happy my tummy ISNT BLOATED! So it’s officially a week since I started the Cambridge Weight plan and I really can say that it’s been the complete opposite experience to what I had pre conceived it to be.
My initial thoughts, were that this would be a diet. I would be hungry ALL the time, thinking about FOOD all the time and I wouldn’t STICK to it. I’ve tried many different ways of losing weight previously, Slimming World, Weight Watchers etc and just never ever considered CambridgeWeight plan. I had seen a few people on social recently, specifically @sj_strum and how well she had done with her weight loss on Cambridge Weight plan. So I gave it a go...and.... It’s honestly been the best week.
The first couple of days were hardest as it was a-lot less calories than I was previously eating and lots more water than I think I’ve ever drunk.
But after day 3 my goodness I started to have ENERGY like I hadn’t had for years.
By weigh day I was excited to see the scales ... I lost 5.5 pounds which I wasn’t overly blown away with BUT my consultant Rebecca said that it’s not all about the pounds it’s about the inches... and within 6 DAYS of being on the plan I’ve lost 4.5 INCHES!! The reason that Cambridge is a plan I believe will work for me, is that there is one to one support... WHENEVER I need it. Everything is personalised to you, you are given the time and information needed for you each time you see your consultant. My consultant has been at the end of the phone every day this week for me and literally supports me ALL the way!
