- Ask for feedback from your clients and listen with the intent to understand, not to respond⠀
- Understanding your clients’ perspective may change yours⠀
- Don’t allow your frustration to blind you from what’s kind, rational and professional. Take some time to calm down first and not let your emotions control the situation. This will help you offer solutions to your clients’ problems instead of dwelling on who’s right or who’s wrong⠀
- Communicate and share a clear understanding of the standards and expectations. Don’t assume anything! ⠀

Okay, let’s vent! Long story short (hopefully). I bought a new cell phone and returned it 2 days later after having “mommy/buyers remorse.” All well and good, I had 14 days to return it so why was I still being charged for a phone I no longer had after 2 months? I have spent the last 2 months on the phone taking care of this issue! My phone carrier and their customer service completely failed me...I have NEVER been more stressed over an issue that was out of my control! Well, after all was said and done, the service and treatment I received from the store manager yesterday made me so happy that I am bringing her a thank you gift and of course it was a sign!! She went above and beyond to help as much as she could considering she works for Target and not Verizon so her help was limited but she wasn’t giving up since my purchase and return was done at her store! She gave me hours of her time yesterday to talk to Verizon Wireless until the issue was finally resolved! It really mattered to me! ❤️
