When I started back in January this was my promise...not to quit. DONT STOP. I keep saying over and over if you don’t quit you won’t have to keep starting over. I’m grateful to still be pushing. Yes I struggle...yes I have my days. But I’m not stopping. #jikiagetsfit

I ordered a SUPER-cute faux-leather jacket on Groupon the other week, and when I checked the size chart I based it on the last set of measurements I took a couple months ago to start my fitness program.
...looks like I need to update those measurements, bc this jacket is SWAMPING ME!!! 🙌 There’s a good 4-5 inches of looseness in the torso, and the arms make it look like I’m playing dress-up in my mom’s old clothes! 😂
Just when you feel like you’re not seeing the progress you wanted...I’m not where I want to be, but this is a CLEAR SIGN that I’m not where I USED to be.🎉🎉
Today was not THE day.... I honestly did not want to go to the gym. I tried to make up every excuse on why i should skip or why it would be ok to skip. Then I asked myself “ are you really going to skip the gym?” And like a little child answering to her mother I said “ ok ok ima do it” 😩🤦🏾♀️ so I made it to the gym and went in the bathroom and played a little music to hype myself up and guess what? I killed my workout just like that and I’m DONE!!! Excuses? Where? Not I ? I got a goal to reach :) Happy Friday!!! Now I’m off to sleep because I have to work a 12hr shift tonight 🙄
Did a 3 mile run this morning , it’s not much but it’s progress for me , my ultimate goal is to tone and slim my midsection , and tone and slim my overall body but my main focus is my midsection , ANYBODY GOT TIPS ON GETTING A SLIM CURVY WAIST WITHOUT LOSING BOOTY FAT ?? 👀

On the left, I had just graduated college and was at the heaviest weight of my life. I felt like crap because I treated my body like crap. On the right, I’m happier, healthier, and feel amazing!

I know this photo is probably just a wonderful coincidence but I definitely ignore that every day when when I look at it and tell myself that my friend’s dog actually loves me just as much as I love him and it makes me feel like I’ve achieved something beautiful in my life 😅
