One of the proudest things I have ever did is to be able to grow curly parsley from seeds 🌿. Some people in Indonesia are having trouble to grow it, since the seeds are sprouting within 25-30 days. The most common thing is that people forgot to water it so it won’t sprout. I love to add them in the soups and fritters.. how do you like to eat your parsley?
Box 16 has 3 different plants
We’re not just trying to attract humans to our garden #beesloveborage
Borage is also known as #starflower and #beebush and like nasturtium, has beautiful edible flowers 🐝
Common google search for this one “IS DILL SEED THE SAME AS DILL WEED”…. The short answer is not exactly…. Although you can substitute one for the other if you haaave to, the quantity being used changes significantly. A few websites even offer a #seed to #weed conversion formula (3 heads of dill weed = 1 tablespoon of dill seeds)
The one featured here is #Italianparsley which has flat leaves. I mention this because our next box is full of #curlyparsley with, you guessed it, #curly leaves (usually described as #ruffled leaves but then why didn’t they just call it ruffled parsley….) More details to come in the next post!
