Curiosity •• notice how children are so curious? This is how they learn. A child is more motivated to learn if he is following his curiosity. Follow your child’s lead, nurture their interests and explore their curiosities with them.

This is the very first full skeleton job of my freshly collected Australian beetle colony. :) Our landlords are very interested in all the bones that I'm cleaning, so one day they brought a shining bronze-cuckoo (Chrysococcyx lucidus plagosus) that flew against the window. Can't wait to show them the finished result! The piece of wood is found between the fruit trees in the garden - where the cuckoo lived. When I asked if they wanted the bird in a certain position, they said they would love to have it flying. Just as if it is still catching insects.
Honesty is a virtue (behaviour) that involves Submitting the truth to others (Trust), regardless of the consequences (Fear).
Most of the time we ARE honest and it is without consequence. Children start out innocent and honest because it involves simple recounting of the facts. Dishonesty, which we'll cover next time, is a more complex behaviour that we learn and ideally abandon by adulthood because it doesn't serve us long-term.
We're honest with others because they're Curious about what we know, Trusting that we'll give them the truth and Surprised by the new information we share.
When living intentionally, we strive to do nothing by accident. If we want to earn someone's Trust, we make sure we're Honest with them, easing their minds empathetically by showing we do not add uncertainty to their lives.

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existence. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery each day. - Albert Einstein
Dear Me of the Future,
The mountains that we face give us the opportunities to laugh as we're being challenged. They give us the opportunities to grow.
We must remember to preserve our childlike happines, innocence, and curiosity. There are people who will try to take away your smile.
Let us yet again become the ring master of the circus and nourish it with new life and color.
Let us bring smiles to one and all.
P.s. I love the circus! When I was younger I wanted to travel the world and entertain as a contortionist and be a famous trapeze artist. I loved seeing everyone laugh and smile. The laughter! The colors! The lights! The costumes!
