You know it’s your birthday celebration when there’s a table consisting entirely of cheese. It was a “grate” day 😉 Going to Troisgros has been a dream of a lifetime. In France I grew up reading and watching stories of this iconic family of chefs. They have had three Michelin stars for 50 years in a row and the current chef is the 4th one, following his father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
The food was great and perfectly executed, but what really stole the show was the location. The restaurant is in the most breathtaking setting, by a pond, in the middle of nowhere. The architecture of the building is a perfect mix of old and new. This place is truly a dream.
