🍁🍁🍁Autumn Sunset🍁🍁🍁 I'm digging this warm copper balayage against my client's black base. Her hair history was a bit difficult, she came in wanting to be as light as possible. She had at least 4 layers of blue-black box, and a few inches of regrowth of her natural black hair. She had also not had her hair cut in well over a year, resulting in breakage on her ends, which we also trimmed.
I explained to her that blonde is a journey, not one sitting, but that each step would be made as beautiful as possible, without compromising the integrity of her hair. This was the lightest we could safely get her hair, and let me tell you it was wayyy more orange at first, there was no way to lift her past that without some serious damage resulting. We decided to work with the orange, and made a more muted copper tone with a toning gloss. She loved the end result and placement of her balayage, I can't wait to see where her hair journey takes us!
