Congrats to Wayne McKinnon who is the winner of our 6-Week Summer shape up challenge, the $1,000 grand prize, and best overall transformation! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 In 6 weeks, Wayne lost 26.2 lbs and 3.6% Body fat! Wayne’s transformation is pretty incredible as you can see in his before and afters.
Wayne trains at 5:30am and sometimes 7:30pm, 5x per week and will also attend Saturday workouts. Wayne truly has made this a lifestyle and made an incredible effort with his nutrition, workouts and dedication to reaching his goals.
I’m sure everyone who has ever had the pleasure of training in the same group as Wayne or even got to know him knows how awesome of a guy he is. This is well deserving and shows you how much progress can be made when you don’t give up and trust the process.

This is an important mindset to have! Theresa could have thrown the towel in after rolling her ankle and breaking a bone in her foot the other day running some errands (bummer!), but she still wants to remain active and focus on what she CAN do not what she CAN’T. CTS youth athlete Tyson working one of our favorite medicine ball power development drills; 1 slam + 1 rotational throw. All ages can benefit from this exercise and all ya need is a med ball. The key is to use a lighter ball to reap the true benefits. Too heavy and you can’t throw the ball fast or hard enough. Great job Tyson!
Our CTS Youth Conditioning program for boys and girls in 3rd - 5th grade focuses on speed and strength basics/fundamentals, proper movement, and general conditioning methods to build the foundation for years to come. Gotta crawl before you can walk! A great example here is teaching the squat with a favorite of ours, the DB goblet squat. Sitting down to a box reinforced the same depth with zero guess work. Helps build great posture, leg strength, and endurance. Nice work here Justin and Ben!
Commence warm up! Jumps prior to resistance/strength training is a great way to get the fast twitch fibers working and also create a lot of body heat. Both important to get the mind and body ready for a great training session. Great job Natalie and Kayli!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our first ever big bootcamp. Our goal was to run the biggest class in CTS history, and while not all of the 48 sign ups were able to attend, our final count of 43 crushed our goal!
