So this is my day ahead.... trust me the time is being spent wisely.
Business planning for 2019 and the next few years ahead. . 2018 was a fantastic year for the business, but to better it won’t happen by chance or plain luck. .
So whilst relaxing on this beautiful beach, I am making notes, plans and goals for the coming year. .
Make sure that this is something that you are factoring time for each month - plans don’t just have to be written each New Year. Also, plans are written to be updated and adapted as needs be. .
If it would help you , Minerva Growth will be running a business planning session in January - it will be a live event at my offices in Wednesbury, but for any of you who can’t make it or are overseas, I will also be running a session online as well. .
Think this will help you? then simply DM us or email firstname.lastname@example.org and let’s get you booked on. .
Have the best day. .
It was great to see many familiar and new faces in the industry tonight. Thanks to @peakprivatelending for allowing this ragtag bunch to rub elbows with their friends. And thanks to everyone that came up to our booth expressing curiosity in what we do.
I’ve been workin! I may not be on social media like I used to but I have picked up the pace. No more fast food, I cut WAY back on sugar and I have carbs when they coincide with my workouts. Oh yeah and I’m pretty close to my old strength 🍑#puttinginwork#crushit#obligatorybootypic#postworkout
Ready to be transformed in 2019? 🙋🏽♀️It will be here in 19 days! I’m looking for ladies who plan to CRUSH it next year. DM 📨 me to chat about your goals before the year starts. 🎉
The pics may not look much different, but the tape and scales tell all! In 2016, I was working out for an hour every day. I could run for almost two miles without completely dying 💀 and my nutrition was on point ☝🏽. Fast forward exactly two years and while I did just have my third baby 👶🏻👶🏻👶🏻 a few months ago, I know I’m slipping 🤦🏽♀️. I’m ready to make a change 💪🏼...and I’d love for you to join me on this journey 💫💫💫
🌱Getting oily w my @charlenewoods! My fave essential oil to stay healthy this time of year is Thieves...a combo of clove, cinnamon, eucalyptus & rosemary. 🌹Kills alll the yucky bugs going around when you diffuse it, drink in a tea or apply on little one’s feet. Tastes yummy and is one of our edible ‘vitality’ oils...leaves you feeling & smelling pretty magical.
Recipe for success.
Like if you agree. ♥️

Stay motivated and god bless the lord will provide.
One of my goals of this past prep was to be less fixated on it. That might sound like a weird goal to have for prep, but that was my main one. I wasn’t focused on winning or losing, who my competition was, or what my next meal was going to be. My goal going into my 2018 prep was to be a different person than last time, and no I’m not talking just about physically. Each time I prep, I set non physique goals for myself, and this year I made sure to do the same.
This prep was the first time I dieted while living with my wife, and also having a more substantial client workload than in previous years. These two factors helped me keep my mind away from the thinking about my prep 24/7. Instead of sitting in my apartment analyzing my every move, I was now in a house with a wife that I had to support and for lack of better words, had to interact with 🙃. There’s no going into hermit mode for me. I made sure that I did not let my choice of dieting detract for our daily life.
Having a substantial client workload also helped me focus on other people’s preps and less on mine. It was refreshing to help other people through the process of prepping for a show, and not just focusing on me. Talk about a nice mental break.
Most days I didn’t feel like I was “in prep”. To be honest, my daily activity of pretty much the same whether I’m prepping or not. The only difference is really my food intake and my bedtime 😂 😴. __
Does anyone else set non physique related goals when they prep? If so, what were they? I would love to hear them.
Creativity Tip #3
Write whatever comes to mind for ten minutes straight daily (no judgement). This strategy has been promoted for decades by authors Julia Cameron and Natalie Goldberg. It aims to free your subconscious from blocks and allow it complete expression. You may end up with a game changer or two.
Now there's times where your writing makes no sense and sentences repeat. Afterwards only crappy ideas show up. I've been there and done that and so will you. Just a part of the process.
The points to express the concepts swimming in your subconscious hoping to come out on paper. I'll also mention there's times where you feel impatient and those ten minutes feel like an hour. Keep at it until your clock goes off. Ten minutes can feel like five. Those are the great moments when a whole flood of ideas come out.
You can do two things after finishing. Either take a breather and come back in a few hours to review your work or put it aside for a few days to see it with completely fresh eyes. I prefer the latter method as it's more fun to me. The former may feel better for you though.
You never know what great ideas will be discovered as you review the pages. Act on them immediately if they're commercial enough. So begin writing today and feel free to ask me any questions!
RETAIL TO WHOLESALE
Most of you know I started out in Retail. Managing the Arlington, Dulles and Manassas Nutrition Corners. Now, I manage our wholesale accounts for Core Nutritionals and Merica Labz. How did I get here? Was there a clear path? Was it laid out in front of me?
The answer is no. Nothing was laid out. Nothing was guaranteed and honestly nobody knew what the future held. .
Instead of expecting certain things to happen I made sure that my work ethic and my results did not go unnoticed.
I absolutely am not posting this to boast (those that know me well, know that isn’t me). I post this because I’ve seen to many people think that they should be given or see some type of change after a certain period of time. No matter the work ethic or the result.
I’m sorry, but that’s not how this world should work! You should EARN your growth!
Always workworkworkin from home...what are your best working from home tips? 🤔
Mine are to get up early, keep a strict schedule, and build enjoyable things into the routine—like making tea at a certain time every morning.
What do you think? 🤓
