🍏Homeschool Adventures 🍏#sponsored "The Stack By Numbers 3D Puzzle from @brickmates is an excellent learning toy for ages 6 to 9. This fun puzzle combines math and art. Made of very high quality durable plastic. The rocket ship set comes with 180 plus pieces, paper template, paper background, plastic frame, baseplate, frame pegs, frame hanger, zip lock bags for storage, and puffy stickers. After completion the 3D puzzle fits back in the box without taking it apart. Your child can hang it up or build it again.
The baseplate is compatible with Legos and extra bricks are included in case some get lost. A unique twist on building, your kiddo can create their masterpiece and hang it up on the wall!
Girls and boys will enjoy creating their 3D rocket. It is recommended for ages 6 to 9. (Mine are 6 and 4.) Both boys were able to look at the template and stack the correct number and color of bricks. The puffy planet stickers adhere to the clear bricks and can be snapped into place next to the rocket.
My boys had a blast building their 3D creation and were so proud when they finished! I like that this hands on activity helps develop memory, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, processing skills, problem solving skills, self esteem, following directions, and patience. Supporting both emotional and social skills, this educational toy will build confidence. Along with sparking imagination, creativity, and art appreciation. A very engaging puzzle that helps increase attention span and concentration.

Too big a smile for Instagram? Hard to contain it while working with my creative collaborator on this shot. It may look like I’m all alone in front of a spectacular Montauk sunset, but there are throngs of people waiting to be seated for dinner at @crowsnestmtk. @drdennisgross ‘s vision was to get people who were focused on their drinks, refocused on the sunset behind me. It worked! He even made up a yoga pose to make it happen! Photo cred: @drdennisgross #crowsnest#montauk#summertime @mscarriegross #yogaintheworld#vrksasanavariation#fun#play#creativity#hamptons#yoga
[NEGATIVE THINKING] ⛔️Did you know? We average about 60,000 thoughts a day. These thoughts trigger feelings which define our actions and therefore our life. However, for most people, almost 95% of our thoughts are subconscious, repetitive, and often negative.
⛔️These negative emotions cause stress on your body. Your amygdala, the emotional center of your brain, gets triggered and logs these thoughts as negative and tries to protect you by subconsciously telling your body “you don’t want to do that. It’s unpleasant so stay away from it.” This is why changing our behavior can feel so challenging.
⛔️Stress begins as a mental disturbance. Mental disturbances, if left untreated, eventually lead to behavioral disturbances and then disease. ‘Disease’ in Chinese medicine is characterized as an imbalance in the body. It can be relatively minor things like skin eruptions, muscle aches, and pains, digestive issues, or insomnia. If it progresses it is the underlying cause of cancer, frequent infections, and autoimmune problems. Disease takes a long time to happen, it builds up over many decades and most people have no idea that they are at risk.
❓Have you ever stopped to consider how important the thoughts that are running through your head are?
Witnessing an orange sunset over Lake Titicaca, Mama Earth’s sacral chakra, was one of the most breathtaking, divine experiences I have ever had.
Being able to connect with and attune to Her energy was incredibly healing and empowering. I am incredibly grateful to be able to act as a conduit to share this powerful energy of pleasure, sexuality, feeling, and creation with all of you.
P.S. My journey to and my experience at Lake Titicaca will be shared on my vlog soon!
Today’s quote fits perfectly for how I feel, and goes well with my other posts today. When looking back to the how and why the Painted Ladies Collection was created, I can remember experiencing artistic greatness, and not so great artistry as well. Usually people will save the best for last, I chose to do the opposite.
However, in saying that, art is not necessarily good or bad, it’s about what you experience when viewing it, or creating it, or surrounded by it. It’s imperfect, yet perfect. It’s what you make of it. And sometimes, as artist we are successful at getting our message across, and other times not so much. That’s what makes an artist an artist! 😉🎨😉

For the longest time I believed freedom comes from having a car, buying an air ticket easily, being able to buy a house or a holiday trip.
But I know now, it’s not freedom from but freedom to that matters.
I have freedom to be creative, to let go, to let life inspire every moment even if it’s very different to what I’d anticipated and to be centered like the trunk of a tree. Such that I can give life to the leaves, the birds and fruits to germinate more life.
What’s your freedom to?
