What are you waiting on God for? There have been so many times when I have been in a season of waiting & I’ve felt like I haven’t gotten the outcome that I wanted or expected. It can feel like God hasn’t heard you or as though, He isn’t there. But I have learnt to trust God even when I don’t get the answer I thought was best for me. 🌿
I have learnt that God is SO faithful & when I look back on my seasons of waiting, I have seen that God’s answer was the best answer in the long run. So I learnt to say ‘if not my way, if not what I want, if not what I think is best...He is still GOOD’.
Lately I’ve been angsty and impatient to start a new chapter of my life that breaks from the one I was raised to follow. With certain changes in my life recently, I’ve been frantic about how i was going to make this happen and how I could begin the way of life I’ve been lusting after for a long time.
From left to right on each line these cards represent my strengths, weaknesses, advice, what I need to stop, what I need to start, and what is best to continue.
This spread reminded me to recognize my blessings without becoming complacent, reminded me to take care of my mental health, and be honest with myself. I need to stop doubting my abilities to succeed, go deeper in my spirituality, and embrace the new journey that I’m on.
I was greeted by a deep depression this morning. I felt empty and hopeless. I burst into tears talking to my love on the phone about nothing. Panicking about my future and what I was doing with my life... his love and soothing voice calmed me down enough to enjoy the rest of my day with a good friend that knew exactly how to pull me out that last little bit so I could breathe. Back in the present and out of my head, this reading was exactly what I needed to restore hope and focus in my life.
Today, I was fortunate enough be able to invest in myself by taking a painting workshop hosted by a local artist (@oksana.berda), whose art I deeply admire, at a beautifully curated local shop (@commonpeopleshop). The workshop opened my eyes to what inclinations of mine prevent me from fully expressing my creativity, while also enlightening me on my preferred styles of painting and what mediums I like to use. Overall, it was a fruitful workshop that left my mind and soul nourished, regenerated, and motivated to take the time to start cultivating an art practice on a daily basis 🎨 Whether it’s taking a creative workshop, or going to a yoga class, finding time to nurture your mind, body, and soul will help you regain perspective of what truly fills you up in life ✨ #painting#workshop#creativity#artpractice#grateful
The second crystal I chose was Raw Citrine to clear the energy block in my root chakra. I told my Crystal Designer what I wanted and she created this jaw dropping piece for me. I held it for a good hour after she put it in my hand and instantly felt its magic.
Per Energy Muse, "Citrine is associated with the root, sacral and solar plexus chakras. By connecting with the sacral chakra, the citrine healing properties are most effective in stimulating an increase in sexual and creative fertility. The conception of both ideas and life can be plentiful under citrine’s power to motivate. It also links to the root chakra to bring the physical energy up to the emotional, and raise all energy to a higher plane. As this chakra is an area where people often suffer energy blocks, citrine can be crucial to clear that block. The solar plexus is the central energy distributer, so citrine’s connection to this chakra will elevate energy levels and general circulation.
Citrine meaning can lead to a few different decorative choices. It can be placed in the bedroom, to bring light and abundance into the intimacy space. Citrine stone can also be implemented into the office or workspace for added prosperity and creativity."

A couple of sundays ago my father prayed for traveling mercies and that God would send his guardian angels out on our behalf. Well, sure enough, on the way to church, as we rode in our car, I saw an angel fly to our car and entered. It made my day better because I was in pain from a spiritual attack. It, or he, was so stunning. I saw the face of the male angel.his hair was wavy at the roots and straight towards the ends. His entire appearance shown like crystal. The colors of the rainbow were clear and evident. He had on a sash. He also had on a long skirt and another instance I saw another angel in a robe. The presence eased my aching body. All I can do now is praise God. My favorite bible verse is Psalm 145:3. Now I've seen the angels several times in the past month. I am thankful for a creative God who made guardian angels to fight some of our unseen battles.
I was so happy I decided to draw it the best I could.
