POSTCARD FROM PARADISE 😍😍 The entrance fee to this spectacular natural SPA with the best mountain views is... $1.25 USD. 👌
Not only can you take a dip in it's hot spring rich in many minerals(funnily the water is cold but it's still called a hotspring) you can also walk around and even go for a small trek beneath its cliffs.
Although Hierve El Agua is definitely a well know spot for travellers to visit, it might not be in the top 10 natural wonders of the world.
But that might exactly be the reason to why it's so worth visiting and discovering places like these, places on a budget.
Don't limit yourself to famous but expensive landmarks or destinations, those fancy instagram spots.
Those pic 'must-haves'. Sometimes try the path off the beaten track... Find a little empty cenote in the Mexican countryside and have it all to yourselves for the whole morning,
Go to some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Costa Rican jungle (but everyone is always only talking about Niagara) and enjoy it with a small group of people instead of thousands of tourists.. Find the best corner local food buffet for $2.50 with a surprising amount of accidentally vegan options :D
Instead of going to trip advisors top 3 restaurants.
Machu Picchu is wonderful, but there is so many other amazing ruins with just as much impressive history as mystical vibes. Have a look at Belize and Guatemala with iguanas and spider monkeys just hanging out everywhere you go. .
Hawaii beaches are amazing, but just being there 24 hours we spent a few hundred dollars, while in Mexico you can have an amazing apartment on the beach for $200 a month!
So don't just think travel has to be expensive, and that we are spending a fortune in these postcards from paradise :) Go out and find those gems! It's so satisfying!
Even if only from a travellers point of view 😍👣🌎 #mexico#oaxaca#hierveelagua#hierveelaguaoaxaca#newplace#coupleoftravelers#globelletravels#backpackers#travelcouple#couplegoals#travelforever#mexicogram#travelmexico#beautifuldestinations#creativetravelcouples#happiness#visitmexico#love#mexico_maravilloso#mexico 🇲🇽 #coupleswhotravel#uniladadventureadvent
The best thing about doing the @kiwiexperience is the fact that the bus just stops in what you think is the middle of nowhere, but you get out and go on these incredible walks!
The views we had from this walk, were breathtaking. Everywhere you turned there was something different to see. We got views of Tongariro National Park, with mountains covered in snow, then you turn around and can see the Taranaki Falls.
We’ve never been huge nature lovers or gone on long walks for fun, but being in New Zealand has 100% changed that💚🌿
New blog about one of my favorite places in Japan! Link in bio - would LOVE any feedback. 😊 Fushimi Inari-taisha is a special spot. Have you ever been? If you haven’t... where in the world is special to you? ⭐️
Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today. You are never too old to set another goal, or to dream a new dream. One of our dreams was to road trip across the US in the summer, and that’s exactly what we did. Here’s us hiking the Great Sand Dunes for sunrise during our road trip. We highly recommend adding the hike to High Dune to your bucket list. It was one of the most challenging, but rewarding, hikes we’ve ever experienced.
Another stop on our honeymoon cruise - 🇬🇷 Corfu 🇬🇷. If you plan on going in August, prepare to roast! The beautiful mix of history and stunning views of the water make it worth it. @norwegiancruiseline @corfu.island #flywithphipps
Talking about India today reminded me of this waterfall at headwaters of the Ganges in the Himalayas. A beautiful hike to this spot through amazing views of the mountains and rivers is definitely one that we will never forget. As we started our journey one dog seemed to take a liking in us and, as if he knew we were going on a hike, decided to join along...then another dog... then another... and another..haha we ended up accumulating 5 stray dogs that wanted to come with us! I sure am glad they did because up in the mountains a dozen monkeys showed up like a biker gang ready to jump us, and the dogs chased them away! Haha it was so fun having them come along with us. This waterfall was so beautiful, and the water of the Ganges is considered very pure and by bathing in it, one will cleanse their soul and heal their body, so we definitely took a dip.
Visiting Bagan, Myanmar during the wet season meant we missed the hot air balloons it’s famous for. But we were lucky enough to see the area lush with greenery instead of the brown desert seen in most travel pictures.
Berlin is one of the most fascinating, vibrant, busy and cultural places we have visited so far. It’s rich in history both good and bad, but all of this makes up the place it is today
This was one of our fave spots in the city! We loved the Berliner Dom - the tones, the architecture, the gorgeous fountain (and yes even the scaffolding made an appearance!)
Travelling together we feel like we’re on top of the world. We feel so lucky can’t believe we able to see all the places we have together in this whirlwind adventure
What’s your fave place in Berlin? Let us know in comments 👇
Sleep or good bye kisses? If you had to choose which would you?
I LOVE sleep, like especially those early morning sleeps (motherhood has been rough for this gal). .
But my husband leaves for work early, before I’m even aware life is happening around me.
In our first couple years of marriage he didn’t kiss me good bye, because he knew how much I loved sleep but then I told him its totally worth it to me to wake me up.
So every single morning, he climbs back into bed to give me a kiss good bye. .
So what about you, would you want to be disturbed for a good bye kiss?
