Ginger is one of our native botanicals that gives ARC Botanical Gin its unique flavor profile, a true taste of the Philippines!
Our fresh ginger, scientifically known as Zingiber officinale, is sourced locally and chopped the day we distill to maintain its peak flavor. During a careful 8-hour distillation process on our state-of-the-art custom copper pot still, the ginger imparts a slightly woody, spicy-sweet warmth to our citrus-forward gin recipe.

The @burleighsgin in October’s @craftginclub is pretty inside and out! It’s made exclusively available for club members and I’m very happy to have one. I’m not sure how I’ve gone from just liking gin, to being an avid fan. I have to say this is one of the best I’ve had. Not pictured is the incredibly delicious @lilyobriens Creamy Caramels with Sea Salt chocolate which I munched upon arrival of the box.

Sicilian Blood Oranges are famed for their intense rich citrus flavour. The peel of the blood orange is a key ingredient in Malfy Con Arancia.
The colour is so vibrant and inviting and screams drink me! A versatile spirit this can be sipped neat over ice, enjoyed as a long G & T or in cocktail form.

Today we celebrate the journey of our grandfather, Master Distiller Peter Westfall.
Escaping the tumult of the Russian Revolution, Peter arrived in Manila with his family in 1918 to work as a director of production at San Miguel Brewery. Later, at the Royal Soft Drinks plant, his tinkering with tropical fruits and botanicals to extract their exotic flavors and aromas led to inventions that endure today.
For nearly two decades, Peter and his family explored the island archipelago, enjoying the country’s rich culture and warm people. In 1926, Peter and his family took on Filipino citizenship.
Embracing centuries-old tradition and techniques, we celebrate Peter’s commitment to excellence and precision, and his love of the Philippines, with our handcrafted artisanal spirits.

It’s wet and windy here in the UK but that’s not going to stop us from channelling Summer with @copeland_gin limited edition Summer release; Strawberry and Basil!
We have a huge amount of admiration for Gareth Irvine, Founder of Copeland, having built his gin empire on the back of a university project. Copeland Gin continues to go from strength to strength, and it’s great to see lots of cheeky personality and their unique point of view really coming through. The Copeland team were in attendance at @the_gin_to_my_tonic_show in Liverpool and the interest in the brand was huge! Their creations are easy to enjoy as a gin and tonic, but they also make a mighty fine cocktail, this was echoed in one of our masterclasses.
Back to the gin of the hour, limited to just 2,500 bottles Strawberry & Basil is an upfront strawberry creation, with subtle juniper and a background of basil and coriander. On the palate the strawberry theme continues, again with clear notes of basil and coriander coming through, and of course juniper. There’s a hint of spice but the finish is long and fresh, with the headline botanicals leaving a lasting impression. We paired it with an elderflower tonic, and a garnish of strawberries and basil to create a really enjoyable serve.
Summer maybe behind us but that just makes us excited for Copeland’s limited edition Winter release; Apple & Blackcurrant. Watch this space!
