Quarter 1 large Bartlett or Bosc pear and remove the core. Chop and steep in 3 cups of vodka for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, add ½ cup honey and allow to infuse for another 3-4 weeks, swirling as needed to make sure all honey is fully incorporated.

Today we're at @betterhalfbar in Austin trying one of their signature drinks- the Padre Island Iced Tea. This refreshing concoction is made with tea, bourbon, yuzu (a Japanese citrus fruit), lemongrass, keffir, lime and mint.
Just a little #TBT to this cocktail with toffee whiskey, sherry, coconut syrup (WHUT?!?) and a few other special ingredients. It's an adventure from a club chair really.
