@sawmillbrewing Pilsner from New Zealand 🐑 🍺, this is a bit different to the usual pilsner, a little more malty, even a touch of sweetness at the end and not overly bitter but a nicely balanced delivery of hops. Fresh and crisp a nice summer thirst quenched.
Overall I really liked it 👍, I'm not a fan of the severely bitter pilsners out there so this one really resonated with me, I'll grab these again if I see them 👍🍻😁
The Vandal - Imperial / Double IPA - 8%ABV - Panhead Custom Ales.
My 6th degree of separation on this beer is I work with a guy whose cousin is the original brewer/owner of Panhead (pre sellout). I was told to keep an eye out for "The Vandal" & that it was a really good beer. Found it on a supermarket shelf & was quick to grab one. A day later well, here we are. Despite being labelled as a NZ IPA, this is actually a big & bold DIPA. Huge tropical fruit flavours from the Riwaka & Kohatu & Nelson Sauvin hops mixed with a great big bitterness on the finish. Rating: 4 / 5

Boss Tweed NE DIPA •
Definitely a great beer. Excited to have it make its way to Ohio. While I like this beer, M-43 will be the superior beer to me. It’s easy drinking and well balanced for being a Double NE. •

Yes I caved and made #thestew . Yes it is as delicious as everyone says it is. Only tweaks I made here were to double fry the reserved chickpeas to get them even crispier for the garnish and finish with homemade chili crisp. Paired with 2014 @russianriverbrewingofficial sanctification. @alisoneroman @nytcooking #foodporn

I was like oh fuck when I read 10% ABV when I cracked it. Wasn’t expecting that. Spoiler 🚨 alert - not a bad preworkout beer at all. Wrecked chest day with some ‘o this coursing through my system. Flys, bench, incline, decline, dips, and some spaghetti arm push-ups helped burn this triple off. -
Really felt the high ABV and booze at first but then either I warmed up to it...or it warmed up to me and really became enjoyable. Kept plowing through it and really got my nose deep down in the glass and really loved it. Some dank and earthy mango, peach, citrus and pine notes lingered and I savored it to the last sip. Drink up UFUKS!
