Today's breakfast was Kalayet Bandoura. We used our favorite curved olive wood spatula while cooking it.
Kalayet Bandoura is a popular Palestinian dish which contains chopped organic tomatoes cooked with our own cold pressed virgin olive oil and organic cloves of garlic.
Preparation time:15-20 minutes.
Bon Appetite :))

Jelld buys the leather from Ashraf father's tannery in hebron. They cut and modify the leather with their own styles and design then add wax layers on it, to give it's vintage looking color.
Jelld collaborates with women from Dora to the south of Hebron who do the stitching on the leather. As well as people with special needs who do the labeling of the products.
Jelld is a team of 5 men and 12 women. They started their work two years ago and now they are a team of 17-20.

Sterling Silver Jewelry by Nadia Alaraj from Bethlehem.
The Silver Zaytouna Jewelry features handcrafted olive leaves from sterling silver. Designer Nadira Alaraj and the Kattan family silversmiths do incredible work in Bethlehem, picking the olive leaves and casting them to create unique molds.
Every single silver leaf is individually formed from a mold that is only used once, rendering unique, one-of-a-kind leaves from the ancient trees of Bethlehem. All connector pieces and wires as well as bands are also hand crafted.

Farmers market preps into the wee hours of the night last night 💪 One of the occupational hazards of baking breads the night before market is ... wanting to eat all the breads the night before market 😂😂😂 Don't worry - I didn't do it. (But, man, I really wanted to!)
We're also taking heirloom edamame, fresh herbs, dried herbs, herbal teas, handmade herbal soaps, and ... PATCHOULI HAND SALVE 🙌 I made a fresh batch earlier this week. It's wonderful. I really hope you love it!
See you at the market later this morning ✌

Sunbird of Palestine Earring and Map of Palestine Engraved Necklace.
This beautiful jewelry come from Beit Doqqo a village located northwest of Jerusalem.
The Beit Doqo Women’s Cooperative started out making food products but quickly grew to include hand carved brass jewelry in order to accommodate the growing number of women participating in this great income-generating project.
The jewelry is hand carved from brass plates and typically draws from traditional motifs, like the traditional dress called thob with the key that symbolizes the Palestinian right of return.
