someone asked me yesterday, “why did you start another business? you have insurance and a 401k, isn’t that enough?” 😳
I’m gonna go ahead and say it — no it’s not enough. yeah, I have those things + sick days + vacation days. what I don’t have is time ⏰
I work a traditional 9-5 job - sometimes with no breaks, so we eat whatever is around while we work. doctor’s appointments? forget it. vet appointments or an oil change? maybe if I shove it in on a saturday. hell, I constantly forget to fill my OWN prescriptions because I’m so busy filling everyone else’s. I’m always paying bills on my phone while I’m at work. I even bought Ed Sheehan tickets at work last year (that was a mess lol). I literally bought candles online this week even though I live within WALKING distance from Bath and Bodyworks because I don’t have time to get over there 😩
I refuse to live the rest of my life on a corporate schedule. wear this, say that, no you can’t dye your hair that color, the customer is always right even when they scream in your face + call you names? mmmm... just not for me ✌🏼 what is for me? time. freedom. four- figure direct deposits every WEEK. paid for luxury car. spending each and every day helping people with my dogs in my lap while being the healthiest version of myself I can be... yeah, that’s more like it 🙌🏼✔️

As many of you know - I am coming out of one of the darkest moments of my life with the loss of my big dream- my business failure, family death, and more.
Thanks to your support I am doing much much better.
Please note - I refuse to use the word depression for myself because it makes me feel even more depressed, instead I am learning to be one with all my emotions. Remember the words he use are powerful.
Always choose the words mindfully! 🦋
To anyone struggling:
