It's 10PM here and I'm tired! I was just filling a bottle of water for my workout and it crossed my mind to skip it. It was a brief 2 second thought. In the past it probably would have been enough to change my mind but not this year.
Skipping this one workout would have messed up my whole week and would have actually thrown out this month. I wouldn't have achieved what I had set out to do which is train traps and chest at least 5 days a week for 4 weeks (also rotating all other body parts but focusing on those two each workout). I'm doing some overtraining and the results are showing! People are already commenting on my traps and they don't even know what traps are haha. My sister told me that she was trying to figure out what was different about me and she finally noticed that part from my neck to my shoulder looks big 😉👌made my day.
They are far from what you would call good traps but they are getting there!

Back to the longer sleeves this week but to be honest.. I was kind of looking forward to wearing my @gympluscoffee hoodies again 😁 They’re my favourite tops for throwing on!
Also, mixing up my training again this week getting in a couple of lifting sessions and hopefully spinning as well as my usual reformer. While consistency is key, it’s good to add a new stimulus that your body has to react to, such as trying a new form of exercise, or even just a new exercise. For me, I just love so many forms that I can’t fit them all in my week so I have to change it up 🤣
Big shout out to Thai class tonight good to see the same faces showing up every week this is how teams are built everyone showing up and getting better each week .. thanks lads really enjoying watching you's come along from the start to now ... reps reps reps and more reps
Keep it lit
One from our Excel class...a class that has seen steady progression over the last few months. Before you know it, what seemed like a huge challenge at the start, suddenly becomes easier and easier. Show up for yourself, it’s always worth it! #remedymoves#remedymovesexcel
SUMMER SALAD!!! If you’re ever in Cork I would highly recommend a visit to @lovingsalads
The salads are incredible, very reasonable and there is a huge variety to choose from.
I always visit their stall @midletonfarmersmarket on a Saturday to stock up so I have lunch on hand for a couple of days.
I’ve added some Organic Smoked Salmon and Wexford Strawberries. Adding strawberries to Salad adds a lovely sweetness.
This plate is full of flavour and texture along with an abundance of Nutrients.
Incorporating Salads like this into your lifestyle ensures that there is no shortage of Protein, Carbohydrates and Healthy Fats along with lots of Vitamins, Minerals and Antioxidants in your diet.
I haven't posted a workout video in awhile.
120kg x 101 reps (one extra for good luck 😉) above knee rack pull
Light 40kg shrugs x 3 sets of 20 to finish off traps
Followed by a quick set of 12 wide grip upright rows (not in video)
Then superset pull ups and straight bar dips.
Never did straight bar dips before. Will be doing them again!
Did 4 sets of 25 leg raises to finish (not in video)
Have a great weekend!
