The Rollover. Many muscles work together to make this move happen. Lovely Pilates watercolor thanks to @melaniebermudezpilates 😊 Putting Pilates into a new light and helping us visualize the way the muscles of the body come together to create strength and flexibility. #coordination#rollover#matpilates
I think Monday is a great time to give some vendor love and shout out new friends & work buddies!! Everyone meet Phil Gallagher!! He is a Wedding officiant based in summit county and is just a pure joy to be around and work with! If you’re looking to bring good vibes, laughter and epic selfies to your wedding day...then he’s your guy 😁 Can’t wait to do it again in a couple weeks Phil 👍🏼
I like this movement combo for a few reasons. Including..... 👉 It involves a lunge, and I sure do love a lunge. 👉 In said lunge, it takes my hip joint through a thorough range - extension to flexion and back again, and this kinda thing is super for functional mobility of the hip. 👉 Because of the lunge WITH the shoulder/arm position relative to the springs (i.e., my upper body is in a static pull position), I'm managing the pull element while at the same benefiting from the tug coming from the springs when it comes to coming back up out of the lunge. All that to say, the spring creates a challenge and offers an assist all at once. 👉 While all of the above is happening, my body figures out HOW to make it happen via its skills of coordination - lunging, balancing, pulling, breathing, and so on. Pretty amazing.
MAJOR EVENTS by ALEXIEVENTS®
Major events of all kinds, especially sport events, are becoming a major element in the competitive arsenal of cities and and their economic development and tourism offices.
Major events bring people to the city, provide attractions for residents, and ensure that the city's name is profiled in the national and international media.
Major events, whether they be sport events, cultural festivals, or events such as the Junos or the East Coast Music Awards, bring significant economic benefits to the cities and regions in which they are hosted.
Major events also have significant operating expenditures. Some event organizing committees may well be run by volunteers, but even a modest triathlon or community festival can involve road closures, extra police time, and the renting of a wide range of facilities and equipment. But of course this is also the stuff of economic development in as much as it keeps businesses operating and workers employed.
This economic development also includes significant participation from private sector entrepreneurs. This might be major international firms that offer ticketing services, IT support (ranging from athlete accreditation to race timing), or security, but it also includes a myriad of small businesses offering hot dogs and merchandise.
It can also include innovative relationships and contracting with social agencies.
Many major events are justified on the basis of tourism and visitor expenditures. There is no question that major events, such as the Tennis Cup, football cup, golf open or even a community event, such as an airshow or equestrian competition, do draw people to the host community, often in large numbers. However, crowds at the event can often disguise the fact that there are few out-of-towners and that most of the spectators are local people.
True economic impact comes when money flows into the local economy that would not have otherwise done so.
Major events also bring many other benefits that can have significant impacts on economic development, albeit not directly financial.
Shoulder stability practice: planks with arms asymmetrical/ and far from core center. Instead of doing these chores with me, join @hernamewascoco Coco for a yoga class focusing on foot, hip mobility and beginner arm balancing to keep with our Monday #mobility and #coordination focus. She's teaching #fasciaerelease too. It'll be a great double header💪🏼😎
