We love to use up all the food in the fridge on Sunday before doing a meal plan and grocery shop for the week. A friend made this apron for me and I ❤️it.

I love to buy @manitobaharvest hemp hearts because they are nitrogen flushed which keeps it super fresh and sweet! .

Food. Is. Huge. I’m so tired of hearing coaches/trainers in my industry tell clients that they don’t have to give up junk food in order to see results. Why are we lying to people? That’s not our job. It’s not my job to tell you it’s going to be easy. It’s not easy. It’s hard to rein in your food choice and create better food habits. It’s my job to tell you the truth.
The truth: it is challenging.
The truth: it takes work.
The truth: it takes time.
The truth: it takes commitment and consistency.
The truth: quick/easy fixes are BULLSHIT...they do not work for the long term. You will gain back all the weight, maybe more, EVERY TIME.

Sweets and sugar, I can resist....but juicy, ripe, summer fruit brings my cravings to my knees.🍓🍉🍑🍍 I've always been a fruity kind of girl when it comes to desserts, and this one is so delicously simple. My 8 year old actually whipped this up...see, easy.

Homemade vegan nachos!!! 8/10. Queso, guac, refried beans, black beans, tomatoes, and red onion. They were incredible and easily would have been a 9 or 10 except we're dumb and forgot jalepenos. The queso consistency came out perfectttt this time 🤗
A lie I use to tell myself: eating healthy is expensive. .
Typically I spend around $110-$130 at the grocery store every other week (household of 2) that includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinners! Eating healthy doesn’t have to be expensive if you have a plan! I think the number 1 reason why I use to think it was expensive is because I’d WANT to eat better so I’d buy “healthy food” and then it would just sit in my fridge until I threw it away.. and I’d be so mad because I waisted money. Now I go in with a PLAN! I make a menu and only get what I need and I’m actually saving money! I’m not throwing food out and I’m not buying junk that looks good at the store when I’m shopping hungry! It doesn’t have to be elaborated meals and it doesn’t have to be just salads! I make GOOD food (foodie over here 🤓) meals that keep us full and FUEL our body! .
When I feel stuck or feel like I’m eating the same meals over and over again I turn to my groups and ask for tips or new recipes or I log on to my program and find TONS of new ideas to add to my list! It doesn’t have to be expensive and it doesn’t have to be time consuming! Not sure on how to get started? That’s okay! I’m here to help ☺️ I still LOVE food but now I also respect it because I know what it does for my body!
The night before last I came down with a horrible gut bug. It might have been from eating out which I rarely do. 32hrs of fever and diarrhea was too much. I decided that if it wasn’t gone by this morning I’d give myself a kambo treatment. The morning came and my gut was still upset so I watered my plants and started my session.
It was a strong one but I already feel so much better. My appetite is back, my stomach feels better, and my fever is gone. Thank you Kambo! I wanted to have a new moon session and that’s exactly what I got.
I’m still getting caught up after my trip so there’s been a delay in getting started with ceremonies. Bare with me. I’ll be sending out all the info as soon as possible. I’m so excited to share this powerful medicine with all of you.
I love the mornings it’s always filled with all the small things that i love to put extra energy into. If I am making our cheeses or pulling our items we have dehydrated or slow roasted today I’m starting to a batch of stock With no distractions it’s almost mediative first thing in the morning.
