I love how genuinely happy children get over the smallest things. My baby was over the moon to see all his mushrooms grow! Such a great reminder that kids don’t need expensive toys and things, give them a piece of nature and watch their minds explode with excitement and curiosity.
These @meadowmushroomsnz growing kits are honestly the best! These boxes have reproduced a whole new bunch of mushrooms every week and we’ve been adding them to all our dinners! Let’s just say his excitement stopped there though because he wasn't too keen on eating them in my mushroom fettuccine. . . KIDS! The cool thing is that you can register to get a box for your school or preschool so go to their page for more info. 🍄😊😁🍄
[kann Spuren von Werbung enthalten 😎] Tag 14.... Salute, Cheers, Prost... 🥂..
#donpasta#cucinaitaliana#cucinatoscana
HIGHLY recommend this book to all my Mama’s out there tryna get your kids to eat more veggies!! So many good recipes & ideas to make the veggies appealing through hands on play by piquing curiosity !! Excited to try some of these out. My baby baby & toddler are pretty good eaters because I had changed my eating habits a lot by the time I had them, but it’s my big kid that gives me the most problems!! I want to have her try more things & continue to offer lots of choices for the other 2 so they keep being good eaters! Help your kids build a healthy relationship with eating from a young age!!It’s much easier to life a healthy lifestyle when you develop the habits as a child instead of trying to change your life as an adult! Could also be a good idea if you yourself are struggling to incorporate veggies into your life! #AdventuresInVeggieLand#Veggies#MomLife#RaisingGirls#GirlMom#HealthyKids#PickyEater#Adventures#Cookbook#ChefCarmen#MillenialMom#DinnerLife#Vegetales#BabyLedWeaning#BLW#FingerFoods#HealthyHabits

Can I tell you a story about the making of this delectable chai ice cream with salted date caramel for the ‘Eat Local Volume 2’ photoshoot? When the amazing Brenda @realfoodschoolaustralia dreamt up this recipe, she sent me to the shops to buy cones. I didn’t need a whole box, so I paid the vendor for three - one for the photo, one in case we had to repeat the shot and one in case of breakage. I carefully packed the cones in a small box and drove home. Sure enough, one broke in transit. This left us with two. Brenda made the ice cream and salted date caramel, ready to go, but the first take didn’t shoot as we’d hoped - the background wasn’t right and the caramel kept sliding away. We were down to our last cone. The second time, everything looked perfect. Brenda held the cone, @cindyhamrey propped up the background board and I stood in position behind the camera, ready to shoot, when there was a loud knock on the door, sending our dog into a barking frenzy. Gah! Ice cream doesn’t wait! To calm the dog, I bolted over and answered the door. There was John, the lawnmower man, who had kindly come to mow the grass as we were up to our ears with work. John was holding a piece of hose in his hand, trying rather urgently to tell me something about the whipper snipper and holes in the hose, while at the same time everyone was yelling, ‘Not now!’ Poor John. I shut the door and took the shot - this shot, which appeared in our book. The next time John came by, we showed him the photo and had a laugh. So, there you have it: a delicious spiced-tea ice cream with wicked salted date caramel. Mmm ... .
Thank you to my husband for putting together this bookshelf so I could put (almost) all of my cookbooks away! I still have a box full of binders with cooking magazines but those will have to find a different spot 😅😂 #cookbook#organization
A while ago my dear friend @mippimoo gave me this book when I was first trying on my #healthyeating lifestyle. Today for the first time I looked through it (sorry it took me so long Miss 😅) and I got very excited by the #recipes I saw! So many yummy foods to make including some salads (and if anyone knows me I’m not a salad person) that I really want to try! This is not a #cookbook in #dieting this is a book on making #healthy#lifestyle and #eatingchoices much like in #skincare you feed your body the right #ingredients and it will do you body good! Sure I have no doubts there will be #cheatdays but it’s also good to live a little and indulge once in a while (you know actually making it a cheat “day” not a cheat “week”) 😝❤️😋
Codfish congee. Pure comfort food. It is light and nourishing. Whenever my family or I are feeling sick I make this congee because it is easy to digest and full of goodness. I like to use a natural home made fish stock that is fresh in flavour and has no preservatives. You only need one pot to cook it in. And you can use snapper, seabass or salmon fillets instead of the codfish. I love to eat my congee sometimes for Asian style breakfast with lots of ginger, spring onions, coriander and white pepper. The recipe for this dish is in my cookbook @onthetableathome #onthetableathome#fishcongee#cookbook#homecooking#foodilovetomake
Good Karma is one key principal that I practice in my life . As I write my new book , “The Canvas “ due this spring 2018 , the concept of Karma , energy and The Universe are all intertwined to creating a life of INTENTIONS for our Spirit , and second using change as a catalyst to push forward will result in Practicing GOOD KARMA. As a new #yogateacher and #yoga student for 18 years , I have learned through meditation how to practice Good Karma and Let Go of Negativity without Reacting, Fixing , or trying to Control the outcome. All these concepts will be discussed in my First Book on Spirituality, The Canvas . Stay tuned as I launch my #cookbook series and new brand this fall, #writer#blogger#screenwriter#spirituality#artist#positivevibes#quotes
