Day 11: Thankful for those who encouraged me to sign up! This is so far outside my comfort zone, requires way more effort than expected, but I’m so happy to be doing it. I don’t have any post-plans and am taking it day-by-day. I’m thankful for a supportive cohort and fabulous coaches. I found a collection of my poems I wrote in high school recently, and it took me back to feelings I don’t remember battling that young. I don’t recall the day to day depression, but I do remember finding solace in Linkin Park’s music. Fast forward 15 years-ish and I found myself struggling with those same feelings again- only this time I was losing and my life was at stake. What I found solace in again was Chester’s voice and the lyrics from a band I’d long since forgotten. Now I’m in a recovery point- I’m growing and learning and letting go of pains from my past. I miss Chester, but I can’t thank Mike Shinoda enough for what he’s created since we lost Chaz. I am so thankful that @opsguy555 has the same love for the LP guys (even more if I’m being honest) and made this moment happen for me and that even while I was giving up on myself and my life he was trying so hard to help me. ✨🧡Happy Friday🧡✨ I invite you to take out a notebook and time yourself for 10 minutes🙏🏽 Do not take your pen off the paper until the timer goes off. Begin the practice of unedited free flow mindful journaling, don’t spend time re-reading what you’re writing. Maybe you start making a grocery list, maybe you start drawing. Whatever it is let it out on paper. There’s no right way of doing this. In no way am I a writer, but this is a practice that has changed my life! Here are a couple question prompts I use in my workshops, and in my personal process I wanted to share 🧡✨ feel free to write a little bit about these topics, or ignore them completely and just take out your notebook and start! Either way I hope this inspires you to add a little mindful 10 minute exercise into your day 🧡✨ have a beautiful weekend! 🧡✨

Take that leap of faith, step out of your comfort zone, and do what you never imagined you could. Don't be afraid of failure, but instead embrace it and grow from it.

Yesterday was such an off day & didn’t sleep well last night, so I decided to sleep in a little bit this morning. But don’t worry, I WILL be getting in my workout tonight after work. I knew if I had gotten up early this morning, I wouldn’t have pushed as hard as I know I am capable of.
For those of you who are going though personal struggles, just know, it is okay to not be okay, you can have hard days, go through tough times, just don’t stay there and wallow— One bad day doesn’t mean it’s a bad life. You can do this & you can get through it, you just have to believe that you can.
