Sumo Deadlift Ladder 15-12-9-9-12-15
Superset: Barbell Squats 4x10
Curtsy Lunges 4x10 each leg
Triple set: Stiff Leg Deads w/ Pulse 3x10
Kettlebell Swings 3x20
Ice Skaters 3x30 seconds
Superset: Lying Leg Curl 3x10
Single Leg Stiff DB Deads 3x15 each leg
After last set, go back to the lying leg curl and perform 1 more regular set, then slightly increase weight, AMRAP, then triple drop set.
Dont forget to increase the weight as the reps decrease on those sumos. And don’t forget to use your @selfie_z case to keep track of your time on the ice skaters! Ran into instagram-less Ethan Wedge tonight, who I prepped for his first competition back in 2012 when he won the Open Light-Heavyweight at @thesupergym NPC Connecticut. Him, @tnt_3387, and I hit an impromptu group back workout and despite my injury the other day, I’m feeling great! Thanks guys for motivation and push headed into North Americans. It’s dinner time and you have these 3 options, my thoughts.
Q1. What are my target macros ?
165 protein / 150 carbs / 50 fats
Q2. What macros do I have remaining today ?
40g protein / 120g carbs / 30g fats
This means I only have one serving left of protein containing food for the day, but I have a good amount of fats and carbs left.
A 3. Have I had plenty of veggies and fiber today? Yes
Q4. Do I want dessert? Yes
So I’ll pick the Kobe Beef Patty, it’s low in carbs and high in protein and will take me almost to my daily protein targets .....AND 🤗 it still leaves me 110g carbs and 13g of fat to consume after dinner.
Now I can have 🍦Ice cream and a small 🍫chocolate treat🍩

315x4 and sitting at about 113lbs. I’m about 15 weeks into prep and planning on implementing a diet break within the next few weeks. I’m down about 10lbs with 6/7 to go. The best defense against muscle loss during prep? Continue to lift heavy as usual (safely). When you’re fatigued, the fat between your joints is gone and everything hurts, it’s tempting to resort to the ‘easy’ lifts. But continuing to push when the going gets tough is what makes it worth it

• what has changed?
• are you eating out more?
• stopped tracking as diligently?
• eyeballing instead of measuring?
• taking bites and nibbles of things and not tracking it?
• moving less, less physical activity in general?
• changed the types of foods you’re eating including higher sodium and calorie free foods?
We all do it, we relax a little expecting to continue seeing results, when in fact we change things ever so slightly but it’s enough to compensate the difference and things start to stall.
If this happens, ask yourself these questions and then get right back to it, give yourself a couple weeks of honesty and you’ll start to progress again!
