Had the pleasure of having @Cimply_fit come in for a couple of sessions all the way from the USA.
Well... she didn't come all that way just to train but it was a happy coincidence.
The aim of the game was just to have a technique tune up.
It's very easy in the lifting game to get into the mindset of moving something from A to B.
And for some lifts this is totally appropriate. Think the powerlifts to a certain extent. You're not going to be squeezing and feeling muscles contract too much with these.
But we really got into the glutes, lats, shoulders and rear delts over two sessions.
Just small tweaks and thinking about the physiology of the target muscle and suddenly, OMG, there's your lats/glutes/delts.
Now should be all squeezy squeezy all the time? Probably not, there will be a point where you'll have to load up and do some hard sets
And we did plenty of those too!
But if you know what a muscle should feel like when going through an exercise, you'll be able to direct more of the load to the target muscle when you do load it up and drop the hammer.
I'm fully confident she'll go back to the US with a much better ability to bring up all those muscles and more!
Also love that she's so small I look absolutely massive. That's out angling at its best!

We really didn’t need to make many changes throughout the entire process. This being our 3rd prep together, he really knows my body by now and that became very clear.
I listen to every single word Ariel tells me, to the Oz or Gram. No questions asked. (Okay maybe a few here & there😂) But for real, I put my full trust in him and he always delivers.
Progression is a process.
Respect and trust the process.
Sometimes it’s 3 steps forward, 1 step back. You must stay focused on the big picture or end goal.

I've been training Tiffiney for a little less than a year. Our goal was to gain lean muscle, improve posture, more energy and compete for the first time 1 year later. Tiffiney was eating 1-2 meals a day weighting in at 117lbs. With proper coaching and weekly check ins she is now eating 5x day. Tiffiney weight during off season 136lbs. As we entered a 12 week contest prep, she didn't require any supplements, no fat burners and little cardio. This past weekend Tiffiney competed at the @npclacklandclassic and placed 2nd! Consistency is the foundation that all fundamental success is built upon. If you work hard and stick with it you’re bound to reap the success that comes with it. Consistency is achieved over time. It is the act of practicing then mastering a certain skill, then comes the acquisition of that skill. It takes time so if you’re willing to do it right and have the patience and determination to do so then you’ll achieve it. Many things requires the patience to be consistent. For example, your relationships, if you’re dating someone you consistently go on dates to let the other person know that you’re interested but if you go out here and there then what message does that send to the other person? That you’re not interested and you’re not willing to make things work. Another example is school. You do your homework with a certain consistency to grasp the concepts. Failing to do your homework is like not practicing for basketball games. Don’t quote @theofficialai3 he was talented enough not to need much practice. But for the common folk like me my hard work to achieve a certain skill will always trump my talent. For weight loss be consistent with going to the gym and most importantly eating. Lately my consistency has been derailed by my injury. I made that injury an excuse to eat and not exercise. Something I’m paying for a bit now. So go out there and build consistency in whatever you do. Without consistency you will never achieve what you set yourself to do. You’ll always fall short. Be better at being consistent.

💪 Weight this morning was 192.4lbs (87kg). My show weight at qualifiers was 81.5kg and finals 79kg. Reverse dieting has 100% helped me to hold on to some condition and also helped digestive health a lot as I have a lot of problems with this in the past. ———————————————————
