Been a while since I made Cinderella coach mugs. Trying to take a litmus Test. Are you liking the recent mugs I’ve been making or do you miss the Cinderella coach mug series. Need to make more mugs this week. Should I do more Salish sea/ northern lights/ Kandinsky mugs or should I make some more Cinderella coach mugs. 😙🤔🤔🤔 #corisandlerpottery
The last month has been a wild ride. Three shows in three weeks and I did most of them by myself. I landed from travel exhausted but fulfilled and headed right back out again to the Oregon mountains with a dear friend. Nowadays being in places like this feels more like home than any house ever could 💚 #pnw#tenaslakes#maker#jeweler#snagmember#contemporarycraft
And just like that, all of my medium mugs are sold! Not even just these white ones, but all my medium mugs in every color are on their way to their new homes! Don’t worry though, small mugs are still in stock if you’re still looking😉 • Thank you all so much for your orders and for all of the kind words and encouragement that I have received since my shop has gone up. You all are allowing me to do this & I am so grateful! •
Photography by Josh Merrill, one of our 2018 Award of Merit winners. Our judge said of Josh’s nature-centered images: “This photography has a delicate use of color. His time-lapse photos evoke the feeling of the movement of the earth through the night sky.” Congratulations on the award, Josh!
Wow, 600 followers. That might not mean much to some, but it means a lot to us. Thanks everyone for your support and comments. We’ve really enjoyed our Instagram journey so far and have connected with some amazing people.
Tomorrow is the debut of a brand new class: Punch Needle! We're taking a modern approach to the traditional technique of punch needle embroidery or rug hooking. The needle punching method results in beautifully textured finished pieces that can be turned into wall hangings, rugs, pillows, bags, and more. This is a super satisfying fiber art that is fairly quick and easy, so it's great for beginners! Just two spots left for tomorrow's class and we'll be doing it again on Sept 19. Sign up soon and we'll see you there: assemblypdx.com 🙌😊
