Last night I had the pleasure of participating on a panel for @culturelime and @wework soho (more on that later) and I mentioned a lot about the journey we all go through as well as really showing up for yourself in the most authentic way. We can easily forget that the journey is really the bulk of our growth. Don’t let that happen! Enjoy where you are, where you are going and where you will ultimately be. We are an everyday work in progress and that is a beautiful thing.

Too many people are afraid to talk about money...what do you think?
If that’s for a raise
A product you are selling
Service you provide
Or just investment ideas
The reality is if that’s you...
you have limiting beliefs about lots of things and one of those things is money
That was created through infancy listening to quotes like
“Money doesn’t grow on trees”
“A penny saved is a penny earned”
Or seeing family members taking action steps to show that money is a scarcity -
It’s just drilled into us -
The scary part is If we aren’t aware of it, we’ll continue to walk around with that baggage all our lives -
The deal is that money isn’t scarce, there’s more money in the world than businesses and people know what to do with it. -
You just don’t know how to ask for it and deliver more value than the price.
Signs of Anxiety in Children
Changes in behavior or temperament are common flags that may indicate your child🧒 may be experiencing stress and anxious feelings. Children🧒👧 may not recognize their own anxiety and often lack the maturity to explain their real or imagined stressful issues. This can cause a variety of physical and behavioral signs to emerge, and parents may be unsure whether these are symptoms anxiety or a health problem.
Some common signs of stress and anxiety include:
Complaints of stomach aches or headaches
Decreased or increased appetite
Sleep problems or nightmares
Behavioral changes, such as moodiness, a short temper, or clinginess
Development of a nervous habit, such as nail biting
Withdrawing from family or friends
Refusal to go to school
Getting into trouble at school
It can help to think about whether these signs typically occur before or after certain activities, and whether there are physical symptoms, such as fevers🤒, rash, or diarrhea, that could signal a medical problem.
Common Causes of Childhood Stress
The source of anxiety and stress in children can be something external, such as a problem at school, changes in the family,👨👩👧 or a conflict with a friend👬. Anxious feelings can also be caused by a child's internal feelings and pressures of wanting to do well in school or fit in with peers👭
This oil has changed my life!
This is the product that made the decision for me to be involved with beautycounter!
I've struggled with a scalp rash for years and this past summer it spread to my forehead. Now as a makeup artist this was incredibly distressing as I felt that that rash would be all someone saw when I went to do their makeup. After trying a number of prescriptions with no luck my aunt recommended the facial oil and I tried it once overnight. The next morning the redness of the rash had decreased exponentially. I've been using this product for about a month now and my rash is almost non existent and a huge part of that is thanks to the No. 3 facial oil! *Slight cover up just for the little redness that remains on my forehead in the latest photo

"If you want to succeed in life, you must overcome your biggest fears.
Many people are afraid to live their dreams for fear of what others may think and say about them.
Recently, I received a DM from a matric student. "My parents want me to go study medicine, but I want to go to business school part time while starting my own business," he wrote. "They would think I'm crazy if I told them that now. What should I do?" This is a common problem for most "kids" one that I faced back then too but making decisions based on what people think, even your closest friends and family will haunt you for the rest of your life. Instead, think about what these same people would say if you did achieve success.
To this student, my advice is to think about what your parents would say if your business did succeed. Would they be proud of you? What if it was the best decision you've ever made? It very well could be. I always wanted to act or be on stage for that matter. I was forced to go study accounting! Can you see me being an accountant 🤔
I ended up dropping out after 1 year and... the rest is in my book 😏
