Been real inconsistent over the past couple of weeks because...life. Workouts, eating, and motivation have just been all over the place and I'm not even mad about it. BUT I'm determined not to let my circumstances or mood keep me from moving forward. It's very hard during "the holidays" to keep it together but it is possible to enjoy them and not be inconsistent. So here's to a strong last 20 days of 2018 🥂

Before this I had spent the year prior mostly stuck behind a computer all day, grabbing shit food and energy drinks in small pockets of time, and coming home stressed every day 👎. Instead of exercising, I would grab a drink to relax instead. It didn’t take long for this to tax pretty hard on my body AND my mind
An amazing friend introduced me to a quality nutrition system, and gave me 100% support to commit to a new goal. Almost immediately I had a massive shift in my energy and motivation! It didn’t take long to start seeing some results 💪
There was no hours of meal prep boiling chicken and broccoli 🥦, and I still enjoy a beer and a burger when I want as life is for living right!!
What you don’t see is on the inside, to feel clear and fresh with energy through the fuckn roof can not be beaten or shown in a photo! .

But seriously, building those horseshoe-like triceps can be frustrating. You have the lateral head, medial head and long head. Many lifters will tell you to put most of your focus on the long head and they aren’t wrong, BUT you shouldn’t neglect the other parts of the muscle! Try these three exercises for more defined and stronger triceps 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
1. Dumbbell skull crushers (4 sets) 6-8 reps
2. Single arm cable extensions (3 sets) 6-8 reps
3. Behind the head dumbbell extensions (4 sets) 6-8 reps

Reality is, you just start. It isn't perfect. It usually is a really messy start. Sometimes you forget. Sometimes you blatantly don't do it. Other times you rock it.
You just keep doing it. Giving it your all every day. And when you don't get it 'right' you wake up tomorrow and give it your all again.
If it's something that you know is going to support you in the long-term than why give up? Just. Keep. Going. It will click eventually.
