“Awareness is metabolism. By being present, mindful and in tune with our eating and overall nourishment, we can operate from our highest possibilities in every sphere of our lives in this world.”
There’s a reason why raw foodists are seen as ‘out there,’ or ‘spacey,’ or ‘hippie dippie.’
Everything in this universe is energy. Inside the most minuscule atom of the smallest cell is energy, and all energies give off a vibration.
When a living being consumes food, it takes on the energy and vibrations that the food is made of. Makes sense, right?
When you start to consume raw living foods, whose energy hasn’t been destroyed in any way, you feel a huuuge difference in your own energy. Naturally!🤷🏼♀️ So can you imagine consuming ONLY positive energies, all day every day?
I can say, because I’ve experienced it myself- eating a high raw diet literally raises your vibration as a human being 🙌🏼✨
And this is not to say that cooked food, or foods whose energies have been lessened/damaged/destroyed are inherently ‘bad,’ BUT, energetically speaking- they are inferior.
So, you can understand why a person would want to stay in that elevated state of vibration by avoiding foods that literally bring them down out of the clouds. I sure as heck have become addicted to feeling this good all the time 🤗🙌🏼✨
Past couple of days has been terribly crazy I just wanna stuff my face in these grilled teriyaki tempeh guo bao stuffed with rocket, cucumber slices and carrot slices topped with wasabi mayo
The most comforting thing that happened to me this week is reconnecting with ex-colleagues I haven't seen in ageees (y'all know who you are) and coming home to a cheerful boi who brought me homemade pesto ♥ Feeling absolutely loved. Thank you @mslyesan Swipe left to see more

🔥PHOENIX SUCCESS STORY🔥
Before joining The Society, @lesleyt1903 didn’t have a relationship to food or her body, it was more like consistent consumption to fill a nameless void. She felt disconnected when it came to food and her body but didn’t quite know how to “fix” it.
At the beginning of The Society, when the initial assignments directed Lesley to feel, she didn’t even know what that meant, because she was so guarded and disconnected from herself. But through digging deep and doing the work, Lesley figured out that self-worth and allowing herself to feel were her two biggest struggles.
Since this discovery, Lesley has learned to sit in her pain and allow herself to feel. She now knows that she’ll come out on the other side of her feelings understanding more about herself, and respecting and loving herself more for working through the shit.
“Actually acknowledging that you are feeling something and embracing it is an amazing thing,” Lesley says. “I still find that sometimes my mind can get the better of me, but I’m now so self-aware that I can almost watch it happen and then correct my subconscious’ attempt to glide over the hard stuff or ignore it with food.”
One of the most important things that Lesley learned in The Society was that it’s okay to reach out to others for help or support. She also realized that everyone is going through something, and that it’s essential to have compassion for others, as well as yourself. Now, Lesley is stronger than she’s ever been before and focuses on what she needs and wants out of life. Her people pleasing tendencies are a thing of the past, and Lesley has gotten better at asking for what she needs instead of always putting everyone else first.
Here’s Lesley’s advice to anyone interested in joining The Society:
“You need to do it! Jump in with both feet and never look back, because what you learn stays with you for life. The bond you will form with the other women in The Society is amazing and something I never experienced before the program.”
We ❤️ you so much, Lesley, you beautiful soul!

Tässäpä helppo ja koko perheelle (ainakin meillä) maistuva kasvissosekeitto. • 2 bataattia
• 2 perunaa
• 2 porkkanaa
Toimii sekin. Tätä keittoa voi varioida vaikka miten.
Easy veggie soup for the whole family 🍠
Lots of people have been asking me about protein lately so I’m going to share what I’ve learned from Dr. Morse on the subject. People are WAY over concerned about protein. Protein is actually the worst thing you could be focusing on when transitioning to a vegan diet. Most people will say when they went vegan they started to feel weak & tired & that is actually a symptom of the body detoxing, not a lack of protein. The body is always in a constant state of detox & when you start to support that detox by removing acid/mucus forming foods (meat/dairy/gluten), your body WILL start ridding itself of excess acids naturally creating detox symptoms, lethargy is the #1 symptom of detox. Humans are meant to be in an alkaline state, we see this with the people actually healing cancer. Cancer can only survive in an acidic environment, if you never have an acidic environment, cancer cells cannot grow. Most protein sources (especially animal based proteins) are highly acidic, exactly what we want to stay away from! Protein clogs your lymphatic system which is the sewer of your body. If the sewer is clogged, your system gets backed up with acids & if you continue to contribute to the acids, they never go away, causing chronic pain & autoimmunity. Another thing I’ve learned is that the human body doesn’t actually use protein in the form we provide it with, it has to break down those complex proteins in to amino acids before we can even digest them & benefit from it. At that point, why not just make it easy on your body & eat amino acids? Where do simple & easily digested amino acids come from? Fruits, vegetables, nuts & seeds. Something else I found interesting was the protein content of human breast milk, it is so much lower than most other mammals! Human babies are meant to grow from a consistently low source of protein. Doing a little research on breast milk alone you will see that most human babies drink in between 25 & 30 Oz of breast milk for the first year of life, making it about 8-9g of protein a day total. 8-9g?! That’s so so minimal compared to what we’re told we need. *Continued in comments*
We’re open today from 11-6.
Our soup today is Zuppa Toscana, inspired by my visit to Italy. One of our customers commented excitedly “I don’t like kale but in this soup, I will eat it all the time!” Rich, creamy, and filling, yet contains no oil. We’re restocking the frozen ones for those who can’t come on Tuesdays. .
One of the new favourites is our vegan version of Banh Mi. I used to eat the meat version almost weekly. So it was a no brainer to have it on the menu, veganized. It will satisfy your quest for a hearty texture and taste. .
Have a powerful day, knowing you have the power to choose joy over sadness, peace over chaos, and love over fear. .

AVO ON TOAST 🥑 I first had an avocado when I was volunteering in Kenya almost 10 years ago - oh gosh time does fly || We had the most yummy avocados I’ve ever had in our back yard so everyone morning and every afternoon we would pick some avos and either make guacamole with juicy tomatoes and fragrant onions from the local market or we’d have it sliced with a sprinkle of lemon, oh so simple and oh so gorgeous || Ever since avocados are probably my favourite thing on earth || Avo on toast is my favourite brunch, avocado mousse with fried tofu my favourite snack, sliced avo my preferred choice of side dish, nothing tastes as creamy as avocado smoothie or avocado chocolate mousse and I’m dying to try avocado fries which I’m sure will still my heart || Oh and I almost forgot my all time favourite, avocado sushi, who would have thought the most delicious sushi would not have fish at all? 🥑
What are your thoughts on the dairy industry? We feel as though it no longer serves a purpose for our societies. It has a detrimental effect on the environment, does not provide us with necessary nutrients and most importantly it relies on cruelty for its efficiency 😔
Nut milks are much more delicious, nutrient dense and do not necessitate the physical and emotional abuse of our bovine mates! 🐮
Due to a radical shift in consumer demand, farmers are moving into new production industries and absolutely thriving off it all over the planet.🌿👍
Much love from the #highbrationorganics team
