Couples do best when they can cooperatively coexist. But that is not to the exclusion of the self. Take time to create space in your life for your individual needs and wants. It is important to avoid relational enmeshment.

A new issue on our Journal features the work 'The Grey Zone' by Florian Rainer. The project focuses on the Donbass region, a past industrial area of Ukraine now turned into a zone of armed conflict with Russia. The antagonists are divided by a 450 km long frontline which divides families, friendships and whole towns and cities. The thin line between the trenches is called The Grey Zone. It is exactly that: a grey zone of uncertainty, where nobody knows what the next day will bring. Article by @shupolina.
When Momma and Daddy take big sister on a pizza-and-movie date and everything is going swell until you get a behavior report update on that SPICY little sister from her Nanna and Poppa. 😂😂😂 #Conflicts#SpiceGirl#DateNight

Regrann from @crow.andre - Untold history Between Haiti 🇭🇹and The united States corporation🇺🇸 History repeats
The United States occupation aka Corporation of Haiti began on July 28, 1915, when 330 US Marines landed at Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on the authority of US President Woodrow Wilson. The first invasion forces had already disembarked from USS Montana on January 27, 1914.
The July intervention took place following the murder of dictator President Vilbrun Guillaume Sam by insurgents angered by his political executions of elite opposition.
The occupation ended on August 1, 1934, after President Franklin D. Roosevelt reaffirmed an August 1933 disengagement agreement. The last contingent of US Marines departed on August 15, 1934, after a formal transfer of authority to the Garde d'Haïti.
Between 1911 and 1915, Haiti was politically unstable: a series of political assassinations and forced exiles resulted in six presidents holding office during this period. Various revolutionary armies carried out the coups. Each was formed by cacos, or peasant militia from the mountains of the north, or who invaded along the porous Dominican border. They were enlisted by rival political factions under the promises of money, which would be paid after a successful revolution, and the opportunity to plunder.
The United States was particularly apprehensive about the roles (real and imagined) played by Imperial Germany in the Western hemisphere. Controlling Tortuga, it also had intervened in Haiti (see Luders Affair) and other Caribbean nations
It’s so important to remember that nobody want conflicts.
Although conflicts can also have a quality of a kind of addiction. It’s both a known experience and scene, - and also a pointing remark to us about that we people are involved with each other.
