Heck yes! This has taken WEEKS of work and persistence. When we first started working on the "bark", the only thing that could get him excited enough to bark was his dinner. Well last night we got him to do it without food motivation! He has made leaps and bounds from the painfully shy boy we first brought home ❤️ #dogstagram#training#dogtricks#speak#rescuedog#confidentboy#whippetmix
Self-confidence is the best present we can pass on to our children. Let them know they are beautiful just the way they are and avoid comparing them to other children. Being alive is not a race, its about enjoying our own journey with what we have on our path, our very own circumstances. Every child is unique - and deserves safety, happiness and a bright future. 📸@immeiko
I’m glad I stuck to my guns and kept taking Krish to the hair dressers despite him hating it every time! This visit he went in much more confidently and said he was going to be brave. Well I don’t mind saying that I didn’t believe him! 🤭Well boy did he prove me wrong! Didn’t worry about who cut his hair (normally he likes to have the same lady)! Sat on the chair by himself rather than on my lap! Did not flinch once, apart from laughing as Nic cut round his ears! I stood watching in disbelief! 😆. All the hair dressers, we’ve ever visited all said...”One day he’ll just go in with no fuss and have his haircut without any drama!” I never believed them until this day! Maybe it’s starting school, maybe it’s just him growing up but I’ loving this new confidence he has!
So I’m glad I never tried to cut it myself or let him have it long just to avoid the fuss. Obviously it goes without saying I’m not judging anyone who has adopted these tactics but I’m just saying be confident in your own parenting choices!
Good on you Krish! Now you can enjoy a visit to the hairdressers instead of letting it upset you! 👍🏼😊😍
Well this man is transformed and looking sharp with a brand new style of cut to start school! 🤩
It’s silly... he’s gonna love it, yet I am already suffering a little separation anxiety when he looks at me and asks me why I’m packing his lunch, he wants to eat it at home! Ahhhh!! Why is the hardest job in the world being a mom to a snuggle baby & mama’s boy? Girls are so much more independent! 🤦🏻♀️😭
