For those of us who weren’t blessed with that huge booty, we gotta work for it! That means lifting heavy and eating a shit ton, but when I say a shit ton, I mean a shit ton of the RIGHT STUFF.. what do I mean by “right stuff”? Well, simply anything that is a whole food & minimally processed whole foods, and then of course you can add in some delicious indulgent foods in the process BUT remember you should never feel deprived because you should always be eating enough of the RIGHT food to be completely satisfied. Typically when we crave “junk food” it is because we our depriving our bodies and not intaking enough of the correct nutrients.

Well, that’s for you to figure out. 🤨 For me, it’s means all of the above & then some. It’s a combination of being physically strong 💪 AND mentally strong 🧠. When someone tells you that you can do it, you may think for a second that you can’t, & then realize that if given the tools, you can do anything you set your mind to accomplish. Well that was me, & this strength hold you see here I’ve been fortunate to have a tribe tell me that I could do things, & at first sometimes Ive thought yeaaaa right, I’m not strong enough for that. But it’s because of the people Ive been lucky enough to be surrounded by that I have pushed through or get pushed through. They don’t take no for an answer😜
Because of them I get to set my mind right, & say to myself you will get it (goal or season depending), it just may take time. & you are strong enough to do this. You just have to walk it out. Sooooo, here I am, after my leg workout 🤷♀️ DOING THE DAMN THING 🙌🏽😆😆

Awhile back, I had posted about how to get abs. The answer was plyometrics and a clean diet! Most people know what a clean diet is, but I've been asked what I mean by "plyometrics." Well, here's what I mean.
I don't do traditional ab exercises like sit-ups, leg raises, or side crunches. I do things like this ☝️ Even though this isn't specifically an ab exercise, it utilizes core strength to stabilize your entire body while you make big movements like this. Am I telling you to swing a sledgehammer at a giant tire to get abs? Not necessarily! I'm just telling you that exercises that engage your core and have a lot of movement will define your midsection and burn calories, revealing those abs that you've been looking for.
Exercises like deadlifts, squats, pull-ups, medicine ball slams, burpess, and kettlebell swings will build a LEAN core, and a clean diet will reveal it!

Little #throwbackthursday for ya. My first show the @musclecontest San Diego Championships. It was this day that fueled my drive for this sport. I took home 1st in novice, 1st in men’s open, novice overall winner and men’s open overall winner. It’s crazy to look back and see how far I’ve come. Stay consistent, stay motivated, keep working and it will all happen!
After my show a fire was seriously lit so hard inside of me to keep improving and building upon my physique, but seeing these stage shots today just sparked that fire even more.
My biggest motto in life is to NEVER stop improving. I want to make sure that I’m always pushing myself to be better - both physically/aesthetics-wise and just as person - I want to be more giving, kinder, more open, vulnerable, the list goes on. Perfection isn’t attainable and that’s not what I’m striving for, I just want to know that I actually made the conscious effort to be and do better when I know that I COULD 😭👐🏼
I am so excited for 2019 my heart pounds just freaking thinking about it. I had a few ups and downs this year - who doesn’t - but I am so so thankful that it’s ending on a positive note. A positive mindset, a happy and full heart, a confident head, and a drive so strong it can’t be contained. ❤️
