I absolutely loved Guardians of the Galaxy and I can honestly say I am in love with Baby Groot! 😍
Since I am lucky enough to work for a creative company which has a license from LEGO, Marvel, Disney and other major media studios, I can easily take a sample and have it on my desk! (Anyone who wants to take a look at our collection, can visit www.bulbbotz.co.uk)
PS. Sorry Darth Vader, I have a new friend now!
BLADE: TRINITY [ 2004 ], directed by #davidsgoyer .
The third and final chapter in the original #blade#trilogy , which, with a grief in half, completes the story of #marvel ‘s legendary #vampire hunter, Blade (#wesleysnipes ) pitting him against, non other then, Count #dracula (#dominicpurcell ) himself, who’s being resurrected to wreck chaos on modern world.
Obviously the film struggles to keep up with the first two films, and mostly because the franchise, at this point, just outlived itself.
As for the plot, it kinda feels deprived of action or dynamic, compared to the first two films. I’m not gonna say it’s boring and all that, but at times it just feels kinda shallow. Turning cops against Blade, thus making shit even more complicated for him was an interesting move, but it lacked any solid development in that direction. Now, as for the antagonist, the main reason of his appearance in the story in the first place is to eliminate Blade, who just happens to be the only obstacle on vampires’ path of taking over the world, and guess what happens, the dude is completely misused. He is presented as this bad-ass villain, the only one capable of defeating Blade, but what does he do? He makes a complete fool of himself. And don’t get me wrong, I like Purcell’s portrayal of the character, it’s just that he wasn’t properly developed into anything threatening of note. He’s just there.
Overall, movie isn’t what everyone would expect after solid first two, but it does put a period at the end, meaning there is no more stories left to tell. As for the cast, Snipes is as good as always. #kriskristofferson is back. Plus we are introduced to a duo of human vampire hunters, played by #jessicabiel and #ryanreynolds (who plays his typical loud mouth), hell, even #tripleh plays one of the bad guys. With such rich cast this could have been at least worthy of its predecessors in terms of characters, but it didn’t happen.
If you’ve seen the first two, you might as well check this one out as well, but if you haven’t - then just don’t bother. I’ll go with a 6/10.
