As a Coach/Trainer I always make sure to feed my self with knowledge. It’s great to create a fighter from scratch and even work with already build fighters. Staying opened minded and adapting to different styles of fighting and different style of fighters is key 🔐 . I’m far from where I want to be but I’m proud to say that I have come a long way thanks to my students , fighters and team but also my passion to keep going no matter the circumstances. This is just the beginning 🥊
Growing up I was the youngest brother, until my little brother came around. I was the one that had to be different. I was the rebel. I made the bad decisions. I HAD TO BE DIFFERENT. Thankfully, my attitude changed a bit once I joined the service. Although I had to be different in the military aswell, I tailored it into a way that would benefit me.
It’s okay to be the odd ball sometimes. Many won’t agree with you or your decisions, but it’s not their life you’re shaping. It’s yours. Fuck the rest. 🙌🏽 #ADifferentBreed
When it’s all said and done, I want to be able to say I made no excuses. I did whatever I had to do to make it happen. Not everybody will understand what you’re doing, or why you’re doing it... and that’s okay. Just focus on getting there. You can’t be afraid to separate yourself. People recognize results, they don’t get it unless they see it. Consistent quality, be good at what you do and find ways to consistently get better. The rest will handle itself. ⚒ #StakeYourClaim
Even though I am a humongous fan of leg kicks, it is important to work on things that aren't my favorite, boxing range is a weird skill set to train because despite popular belief not all martial artist like being hit. Again thanks to @beyondthewoodsband for the tunes
@semtex170: The nastiest left hook there’s ever been. The fights that could’ve taken place if he wasn’t banned from the UFC... Imagine a Diaz-Daley II or fights against Robbie Lawler, Jake Ellenberger, and Johnny Hendricks 3-5 years back. #ufc#mmajunkie#mmafighting#fights#combatsports
I love Monday’s. Not just because @keith_trimble makes one feel loved throughout an entire pad session. But because it’s the beginning of the week. It’s the day I set the tone for the rest of the week. Every Monday I have a set of goals for the week. But it’s always the same objective, week in and week out- its to be #BetterThanYesterday physically and mentally
