Do you see what i see?
One in five Australians are affected by mental health annually, yet many do not seek help because of the stigma. Today is World Mental Health Day.
Mental health Australia is calling on Australians to promise to shed a more positive light on mental health. Make a promise: at home, at work, with family and friends, or in the wider community to reduce the stigma around mental illness and make way for people to seek the help and support they deserve.
Hold space for anyone who needs it. We need to start viewing mental illness in a new light. These people suffering from mental illness are not just statistics - they are our family, our friends, our colleagues who feel embarrassed, misunderstood and discriminated against. Misconceptions and misinterpretations about those experiencing mental illness are damaging.
Together we can all look at mental illness in a different light.

A R T | is something unique, selfless, giving and is in us all somewhere! But tonight's message ran deeper than that "what's my style" and "how do I find it"... Mesha Hall said she was told that "it will come in time" ... such a beautiful art exhibition that is full of colour, life, joy, happiness and hope. I think all those who had went tonight, came home a little bit inspired to find their inner artist!!! Well done Mesha... your work is beyond beautiful, and a true credit to yourself, life and work 💋#followyourpassion#hopesanddreams#exhibitionfleurt#colourandlife#artexhibition#springinspired @myspottyteapot 🙌🎨💐
