Old school color. LOVED this Hell 399 drum scanner! Cost $350,000 used and I ran the crap out of that thing! Fiber optics, a “hard drive”that was about 5 feet tall by 3 feet, the size of a small fridge, for real, and used a space aged 5“ floppy disk! Had be be about 95% accurate of a color by looking at 4 numbers, no monitor or any visual. Color by numbers, had to “see” the color by literally using the only dials,knobs and numbers.Output to dark film, no red lights, had to be loaded and unloaded in complete darkness. Man I miss that beast, still the best color reproducing machine ever made. I’m guessing this photo is 1994 ish?
