Because we have a sense of humor. Because this ski season is off to a tremendous start. And because when anyone asks how we named our lemon wine Skier Pee, we can honestly answer, “We have teenage sons!”
The perfect pair for this weekend’s party hoppin’ and gift givin’. Amp up your hostess gift or white elephant exchange by bringing crisp lemon wines with snarky names!
We will be sampling Skier Pee and Snow Bunny tonight from 4:30-6:30pm at MK Wine & Liquor. They are #veteranowned , have a great staff and their convenient location off Powers makes it easy to #shopsmall and #drinklocal . Love partnering with them
What will you pour this weekend? How about delicious citrus wine?! Skier Pee is lemon wine; Snow Bunny is strawberry lemon wine. Both taste like adult lemonade but are true wines with 10% ABV. Enjoy over ice — or mix ‘em up in a whisky sour or a killer holiday party punch!

Have a holiday party on your calendar? Our Cranberry Meatballs are so yummy, I rarely come home with any leftovers! Made with Skier Pee lemon wine in a crockpot, it’s super easy and serves a crowd. Swipe to see the recipe
Fun tradition: whenever it’s bottling day at our craft winery, any first-timer chooses the playlist! Thanks, @nancykittridge and @bobkittridge, for the music and all the help! The lunch from @dickeysbarbecuepit was spot on, too.

When you buy an entire case — but gotta snuggle one bottle on the ride home! Just like this customer, you can buy Snow Bunny and Skier Pee online then choose “Pick Up” as your delivery option. She saved money doing it that way and we were thrilled to meet her in person at our Palmer Lake winery. Just trying to be a local business with a personal touch
Celebrating this Florida cold snap takes a hearty Bordeaux-style Blend, like this one from Colorado.
Not “natty” but not quite “conventional”. @bookcliff_vineyards farms sustainably without the use of pesticides. In the winery, everything is done hands-on in small batches.
This high-desert red has elements of cassis, black cherry, and dried blueberries. The mouthfeel is like a velvet glove. Pretty wild stuff, considering what popular thought tells us about where wine *should* come from.
For many years, we’ve handmade small batches of lemon wine. Labeled with snarky names and retro artwork, we’ve given away hundreds (1000’s?) of bottles to friends. Less than six months ago, we launched our craft winery, Evergood Elixirs, as a family business. Which brings us to the past few days! We received amazing feedback as we sampled hundreds of guests at the @cheyennemountainzoo Electric Safari. Then last night, we held a tasting at @basecampwineandspirits in Frisco. As skiers and boarders left the slopes, they stopped at Basecamp and tasted our wines — and bought and bought them! It was yet another confirmation that our citrus wines are delicious and refreshing. That you enjoy the adventurous side of Skier Pee and Snow Bunny. That there’s a desire for locally crafted wines made with a few simple ingredients. Thank you, #Colorado , for your decision to #drinklocal . We appreciate your support!
History repeats itself @margaritaatpc with “The Colorado Gold Rush” wine dinner that reflects the political, economic and cultural evolution through these thoughtful plates. 🍽

I just watched the newly released Somm 3 documentary on Amazon and it got me thinking what about my epiphany wine is. Every sommelier has an “epiphany wine” that starts the obsession. A “first love of wine” if you will. Mine was a 2010 Sauternes from Chateau Suduiraut, a dessert wine from Bordeaux France. Not just any desert wine though, we are talking arguably the craziest most sought after desert wine in the world, from a historical producer and an exceptional vintage. This wine is special because of the noble rot (botrytis) that starts growing on the grapes after they are left to raisin on the vines (late harvest). Yes, they are rotten grapes but this rot creates an intoxicating aroma and flavor like no other. It only happens a few special places in the world, and no where quite like Sauternes, France. The sweetness, extreme complexity, richness, and acidity pair perfectly with a salty blue cheese. Bring this pairing to your next dinner party, it’ll be a home run. Or come try some with me over @urbanfarmerdenver #sauternes#bordeaux#sommelier#wine#winelover#wineandcheese @somm_films #denver#denverrestaurants#denverfood#denverfoodandwine#steakhouse#coloradowine#desertwine#lateharvest
