Best sunset of 2018. The light from the setting sun hit the rain at just the right angle as it fell over the Chicago Lakes.
My love took me to the forest today. This man of mine 😍😍😍 seriously how did I get so lucky? We went up to Mt Evans but unfortunately the road to the top of the mountain was closed for paving, so we enjoyed lunch at a quaint family owned restaurant and trekked around echo lake taking in the views.
This weekend was our first weekend getaway with just the two of us and I must say... it was an incredible one!!! #lovehimsohard
Got off work just in time to make some dinner, and eat it on the way to Summit lake for sunset. Unreal views. Just before his photo was taken a mountain goat sprinted out of a small abandoned cabin and almost flipped us all over on our butts 😂

//At first it hurts. Then it changes you.//
We were lifting off, the propellers kicking up dust from the dried out ground. Jumping and standing on his hind legs, Drewby was so excited as usual- He lunged for it!
The drone propeller popped his face and sliced my baby’s lip. He sat so still, being a trooper with that busted lip.
Now he has some punk character scars of his scrappy doo days in the mountains. .
