I wear braids almost every day and always, by lunchtime, the curls and ringlets have managed to escape in rebellious little tendrils. So here I am, unleashing my braid, and with my eyes closed I can hear the voices of the rain. #hopemadeintheworld
Happy Monday! 🌻
Wanted to share a few images of the experience we had in Nuqui, a town in the Choco Department of Colombia. Our beautiful Pacific Ocean 🌊
We had to travel to Medellin to take a plane and from there a boat for about 1h45 to get to the deserted, sandy mocha-colored pristine beaches of Jovi, Nautilos & Termales.
Every day we spent over there, had the chance to walk for hours along the coastline with the exuberant jungle right besides us... experience the incredible marine life watching the whales, dolphins, fishing, watching beautiful birds... ah that's life. I loved walking barefoot, running by the sea, trying some of our tropical fruits right from the tree, omg real plantainnnnn, the fresh coconut water that I can never miss in our beautiful Colombian locations!! 🐳🕷🦋🌴
It was fabulous to be able to experience a real connection with nature, disconnecting from 'civilisation', the stressful city life, the pollution and polluted humans haha! This is place to live with 'nothing' for some, BUT everything for others! I am very proud we have SO much diversity in our country. Sadly, this place is a little forgotten by the government and you can see a lot of poverty, so really we gotta be thankful and contribute to make the world a better place for each of us! 🌷
