With the #thanksgiving#holiday just a few days away I would like to share a story about one of my customers and her yearly #actsofkindness (Background info...she is a #realtor and believes in #clientappreciation ) I hope you will take a minute to read excerpts from her #email that she sent to #collegues .
“You know I try to do a Pop By Gift once annually, usually in the spring, which takes a couple of weeks and several hundred miles of driving. And then in the fall, I do a Reverse Pop By Gift, with a Client appreciation Party and have my clients come to me.”
(She did a party with beer tasting giving clients flights and personalized mugs)
“This year I am having a Thankfulness Open House where they will stop by my house. They all get to pick up a pie that they ordered from a selection I am offering from The Fresh Market. Part of the process is to send them a real invitation in the mail with an RSVP. You do this even though you have already spoken to them in person or by email. There is just something about getting something personalized in the mail...that isn’t a bill or junk mail.
This is the second year that I have collaborated with Kathy from The Write Image in Cary to produce these invites, etc. Today I was working from home when the doorbell rang. I was totally surprised to see Kathy standing on my front porch with her very own Pop By Gift just for me. As soon as I had left her office with order in hand, she had ordered all of these printed napkins for my (Thankfulness) Party. She wanted to give them to me the same way I give my clients a Pop By Gift. That was so thoughtful and so sweet...so unexpected...I thought I might cry right then and there. This just makes her all the more special to me and I will continue to use her in the future. And now, because I just love her thoughtfulness I am referring her to all of you!”
