The kids were demanding Chicken & Sweetcorn Soup “like you get at the Chinese,” so this was the compromise... with added potato, carrots & kale with some miso, homemade stock paste, herbs and just a smidge of 5-spice. 🐲 DRAGON FIRE 🐲 - traditional & natural pine resin salve with a non-traditional twist. Perfect for warming up cold hands and feet, better circulation, muscle pain... The main ingredient is pine resin, which is beneficial for all the problems listed above (and many many more), but there's also some rosemary and lavender essential oil added for even better efficiency 💛 
I usually use it in the winter when my feet are cold. After shower, I apply it on moist skin, and it helps almost instantly! The same process helps miraculously after strenuous trainings or hard work outside (just apply to body parts you know will hurt you the day after if you don't do this), but you have to do it as soon as possible and repeat if needed. Also, I love inhaling it when I'm sick and can't breathe normally 😊

Dragon fire salve is actually one of the first I started to make in my Witch Hut and I was so pleased with it from the beginning I didn't change the recipe even once 🖤 What about the smell? Gorgeous! 💛 So warm and natural, I imagine this is the official smell of a deep yellow color you can see on the pic, and there's not much you can do to convince me otherwise 😉

🍋Ginger Aloe Lemon Tonic 🍋
Ingredients:
1 oz aloe juice
1/2 oz lemon juice (fresh or concentrate)
1/2 oz ginger juice
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 
Add all ingredients to a measuring cup and whisk until combined. Pour into a shot glass and drink up!

There are over 200 different cold viruses and  it’s likely that most will catch at least one or two colds every year. Last week my husband was sick for four days, I got it for two days but then with lots of sleep + meds, we recovered and were ready to go for the weekend! With a cold hitting our household, my broth making and souping is truly back! Right after my kids turned 2 yo I incorporated Elderberry syrup to successfully treat common colds. Up until now I had been using a powerful and well recognized syrup my parents bring from Colombia every year, something that has been in our family for generations

Well I recently found a dupe on Amazon☝🏽 (Off course😀) I would tag the company here but I don’t think they have an IG account!

I mix one tea spoon of this with a little warm vanilla almond milk (to help with taste) and I give it to them every 3-4 hours at the first signs of sickness (runny nose, coughing, stuffed nose) and I swear within 24-48 hours they are back to normal!

I’ve been feeling under the weather since yesterday, so tonight we ordered in from @thewhetnoodle 
We doubled down on the ramen tonight with a shared cold ramen salad to start and then hot vegan ramen for our entree. The ramen salad was exceptionally delicious! It had some sort of tasty vinaigrette that made all the fresh veggies and vegan noodles sing😋 The actually ramen itself was fine, the noodles were just over cooked (probably because they came from the restaurant in the broth so they continued to cook until I ate it). I’m sure if I were to have it in the restaurant it would have been a different story. The flavor of the broth was tasty but I did add cilantro, sriracha, and a touch of hoisin and sesame oil.  I also got a chocolate cupcake for dessert to share (even though Brady probably won’t want more than a bite🙈) from @snopelsbakeshop 😍
We don’t eat out a lot, but when we do I like to go all out😂

My husband recently caught a cold and I took care of him for one week. He was taking medicine but I also gave him Japanese traditional food to fight with  the cold. 
We eat rice porridge 🥣 with Umeboshi(Japanese plum) especially when we are sick because this is easy to digest and nutritious. Pickled plums are usually eaten in small quantities with porridge. Some mother cook rice porridge with an egg 🥚 ( I cooked rice porridge with sweet potato and daikon) Japan also have sweetened pickled plums which are marinated with honey so that kids can also eat plums. Squeezed FUJI apple 🍎 are also easy to eat when your throat hurts😞 and is a good natural remedy for a sour throat. 
Japanese girl also eat rice porridge when they wanna lose weight because they can reduce amount of calories but can still eat some vegetables with porridge.
