These are questions some of us dread to answer. Instead we wear a mask to hide our true emotions, and respond with okay or alright.
When living gluten free, I find I am constantly dealing with new challenges. I have good days and bad days, and over time, I have accepted this is me. To answer the questions above, I can say that I am feeling run down because I have been busy at work.
So the next time someone asks you these questions, try to give a more in-depth answer than okay, alright or bad. Spend five minutes listening to your family member, friend, or work colleague. You never know when someone just needs a few minutes of your time to talk. You might just make their day!

Chicken and veggie rice bowl 😍. I absolutely love the ease of these veggie rices from @fullgreen.official ! I used the sweet potato one and added loads of veggies (onion, garlic, tomatoes, spring onion, courgette and baby corn). ♥️I also had it with some left over chicken and some crumbled feta. It was such an easy, simple delicious meal that I will definitely have again ☺️.

I have to vote for your basic vanilla with strawberry jam filling and a generous dusting of icing sugar. Especially delicious on these hot summer days!!!! That said I find all cakes very tasty!!!🤣😋🍰😍

Here I’ve used my favorite box mix - Betty Crocker’s vanilla gluten-free mix. The tip to making it super moist is to add a 1/4 cup of vegetable oil to the ingredients when mixing.
Oh and missing from this photo is the whipped cream I loaded on to my plate!!🤤💕
🧘🏼♀️ FOCUS 🧘🏼♀️ It happens to us all... We all go through rough patches in our lives and the term “diet” turns into a thing of the past.
The thing that’s important is we recognise that it should only be a short term thing.
I can’t speak for everyone, but I know that myself and the people around me, find that when they are going through rough patches, going to the gym or just working out and keeping #active and #eatinghealthy is a great distraction from everything else that is happening around them.
For me, it’s all about control.
I may not be able to control what’s happening around me, but I can control how I exert that stress and the effect these things have on me.
After loosing someone who would be the equivalent of my right arm, it was hard to grasp. Alas, I have found myself working hard on #workingout to help with the #anxiety and focusing on putting good things into my body a great distraction with great results.
So if you’re going through a rough patch and you’re looking for a distraction, find something that’s going to help your mind AND your body ❤️ #healthybodyhealthymind
So today’s smoothie bowl is a little different 😮! So used bananas and ice cream for the base of the smoothie, then I added some @superfoodwales organic super protein powder and then added a few tea spoons of @unicornsuperfoods ocean blend powder. Which gives it the blue colour. The ocean blend contains blue Spirulina, butterfly pea powder, cinnamon, ginger and coconut powder and gives it a delicious taste but also carries a lot of benefits for your immunity, energy levels and digestion which is particularly important to me ☺️ I topped it with mango, blueberries, frozen raspberries and @deliciouslyella granola 😋 yummy!

I finally tried this yummy @rudehealth beetroot bar that I received from the lovely team over at @sendmefreefrom ! ♥️ For those of you who haven’t heard about them yet @sendmefreefrom are a company who specialise in gluten free, vegan and now low fodmap subscription boxes filled with delicious artisan products 😍! They are delivered straight to your door for such an amazing price 🙌🏻. I love beetroot and this bar lived up to its expectations, it was soft, sweet and really filling. It would be great as a snack for when you are out and about or as a breakfast topper. ☺️My review on this bar and my @sendmefreefrom subscription box is now live on my blog! L U N C H 💋. Before I was diagnosed I used to love the Tesco and Sainsbury’s cheese and tomato pasta pots as they have a specific taste and this tastes exactly like them but even better with chicken!!!!! I honestly can’t stress how amazing this pasta pot tastes 🤤🤤🤤 well done @marksandspencer 👌🏼 👍🏼
What do you do when your down in the dumps? Bake, well more specifically EAT 😍. I made these delicious chocolate chip muffins with chocolate drizzle using the Andrew James mix I got at the @allergyfreefromshow ♥️. I love these mixes as they are so quick and easy to make and most importantly, they taste amazing! I used these dairy free @moo_free_chocolates baking drops for the chocolate chips and drizzle that I kindly received of @intolerant.me ☺️. Who thinks these aren’t going to last very long 😂?!

It was daunting, time consuming and confusing. I had no idea what to buy or how to read labels. Looking back, I would tell myself to take it one step at a time. Start with foods that are naturally gluten free and healthy. Your body needs time to heal.

⚰️DIGGIN’ MY OWN GRAVE⚰️
Argh! Do you ever just have one of those really STUPID moments, where you look back and just think- Why? Why ON EARTH did you do that?
Well... In pure silly style, I had one of those moments this weekend... LOOK... I don’t know what possessed me to eat an ENTIRE BAG of fruit and nut mix that were NOT #activated but I have definitely learnt my lesson and will not be doing it again... As a result of my #sillyness I have been paying for it all over the past few days with the most interesting noises coming from my stomach, bloating and EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN 💩
So this has been the #survivalkit I’ve had at work... #hotwater in an attempt to activate the nuts in my OWN intestines to get them OUT of my system (I don’t know whether this actually works but in a desperate attempt to relieve my pains and bloating- I am trying EVERYTHING) as well as #peppermintoil capsules to help out when it’s REALLY BAD 😐
Will keep you posted on how it’s all going but just as the post it note says- I am trying to #staypositive 👍🏻 (although am contemplating getting my stomach pumped 😂)
I’ve wanted to try the @sainsburys free from pecan tarts for ages but I’d heard so many mixed reviews so wasn’t sure! So I decided to go for it! 🤤 I’m so glad I did! My boyfriend loved them too 😍! I personally didn’t think they were dry at all. They were sweet but not too sweet and just delicious 😋 Do you like them or have any other recomendations? It’s a 10/10 from me, I would definitely buy these over and over again 😍🙏🏻
I went back to one of my favourite 100% gluten free restaurants the other day 😍! @station26.glutenfree is an amazing little restaurant in Brixton market. ♥️ It has such a fab range of gluten free starters, mains and puddings! I got the chorizo and bean bruschetta and the halloumi & pesto burger! I can’t resist but to get this every time ☺️ Made even better by going with the lovely @glutenfreepicks .Who else would like to go here?!

As I have spoken about previously I am NOT the most creative (nor functioning) person in the mornings 😴
As a result of this, my breakfasts are far from #instaworthy BUT RECENTLY I have discovered a simple yet delicious breakfast that allows me to change it up every now and again from my usual #proteinshake but keeping the simplicity element to my, often, hectic mornings 🙌🏻
Using (AND LOVING) the @freedomfoods rice flakes as my cereal base, the additions are cut up grapes, strawberries and banana and to finish off, some #almondmilk 👌🏻
One of my favourite things about this breakfast is the cut up pieces of fruit in the cereal! Its like little surprises to make my cereal a bit more interesting and delicoius ❤️ not to mention so simple, quick and easy to make! 🌟
Not every day can be good day, but there is something good in every day 💗 And today that is wine, snacks and the fact the entire box set of Friends is on Netflix. (I wonder how many hours I’ve actually watched this year 🙃) 👏🏻🍷🍿🍬 #ipadscreenneedsaclean

Monday morning stock up from both @sainsburys& @morrisons🤗 got some new goodies to try including the @wholecreations cookie dough, original @deliciouslyella granola& @mashdirect beer battered chips😍 and then my usual snack cupboard staples to get me through the week😝

I purposely saved these for when I returned from the hen party in Marbella as a treat and my god they were exactly that! ✨🍽

After an eventful road trip down to the country on Sunday night, getting home and having to cook dinner was not something I was looking forward to.... SO TIRED 😑
ALAS! I pushed through and ended up with this mushroom curry/ risotto type meal that was actually not that bad #welldonesilly 🤪
Finished off with some fresh cut up tomato’s and alfalfa sprouts- it was an experiment that ended up a winner! With lots of leftovers 😉
