CRISPY KALE 🌱🌱🌱🌱 Last week I dined at Timmy Greens @daisygreencollection in London with a friend. I’d heard/seen that this place had loads of #glutenfree options but I was super underwhelmed.
I didn’t feel like there were many options for me at all. I went with a roasted aubergine salad with crispy rice and kale. It was delicious and felt super healthy, but compared to my friends mega burger, I felt my coeli-anger and really wished I wasn’t 🙈😆 Anyone else still get really annoyed sometimes?
Trying the Butter Chicken spice mix by @violifestyles ... Of course it can't be my cooking without a few additions ... like full fat coconut milk to make it #dairyfree and some fried onions and canned diced tomatoes for extra chunkiness! I liked that you could choose the level of heat with the mini spice pack inside - Just over half the pack was just a little more kick than mild. All in all a basic, tasty, super easy, #glutenfree butter chicken recipe to have on hand! #experiencelife#experienceflavor#notsponsored
We are so excited to be speaking at the gluten free food allergy fest in #Brooklyn ! Counting down to 7/29 😁 #Repost from @gffafest - #gffafest Lecture stage schedule.

Potato bondas, another recipe from the first World Food Cafe cookbook, to go with the leftover chana masala from yesterday 🙂 These are a potato mixture with coconut, sesame, garam masala, cilantro, lime and ginger that's dipped in a chick pea-turmeric batter, and fried. I made a green coconut chutney to go with it (also from the book). 😍
This was my workout yesterday! Definitely one of the hardest ones I’ve done so far but at the same time- so much fun!
Everyone is at different fitness levels- for me, this was a challenge- it may be different for you or you or you! 🙌🏻 The main parts of my body I like to work on are my arms, abs and legs so that is mainly what my workouts are focused on achieving 💪🏻
Heading to the gym for another workout today focusing on my back and abs 💫 wish me luck! Haha
Is due to a sensitivity to gluten which is found in the grains wheat, barley, rye and oats.
The gluten damages the cells lining in the small intestine damaging the mucosal cells making it difficult to absorb nutrients from food.
The cause is often hereditary and can begin at any age, more common in females.
Symptoms – usually very gradual and may start with fatigue. Common intestinal symptoms include – abdominal discomfort, bloating, diarrhoea and weight loss as there is difficulty in absorbing fat from food. Symptoms are similar to those of IBS.
People with coeliac disease tend to have a higher incidence of allergies and autoimmune diseases.
A blood test and/or biopsy can be done to detect coeliac disease and is always best to consult with your doctor should you notice symptoms occurring.
Thankfully this disease responds well to diet modifications. If a gluten free diet is adhered to a person with coeliac disease can remain well and the mucosal lining of the small intestine can return to normal. Normal absorption of nutrients is then possible.
Supplementation is often required to boost immune function.
Recommendation Immunity Fuel gluten free, 100% gluten free and suitable for coeliacs. https://www.immunityfuel.com.au/page/gluten-free-formula/
We introduced steamboat to our friends last week and the kids had so much fun. It's super easy using fresh ingredients, and best of all everyone can cook for themselves. Blog post with ingredients coming soon!
We had one person that is coeliac and our daughter with multiple allergies. Everyone ate the same food and we couldnt stop eating - even though we were so full.
Looking forward to next time @dbills71

Let's talk about water and weight loss! Yes, I know it's boring and tasteless and a lot of ppl hate drinking it BUT ☝ it is SO IMPORTANT to drink lots of water if you're trying to either lose weight or just maintain a healthy lifestyle. Water not only helps curb your hunger and help with satiety, but when you drink lots of water your body no longer feels the need to retain water stores so you shed a few extra pounds of that water weight! Before I had my baby I was drinking 3L of water per day which was recommended by my trainer. Now I probably drink up to 5 or 6L of water per day just because I'm EBF, which can be really dehydrating! I find having a bottle like the one in my post really helps me keep track of my water intake and every time I empty it I fill it right back up and know it's a full litre. If you have a hard time with plain water try adding flavor with lemons, limes, or some other fruit you like! Cheers! 💦💦💦
